I have asked experts at Livermore but they think asking means I'm a terrorist so they declined. I'm looking for a time line, not math formulas, and not a one sentence answer. My reason for asking is to answer questions like "Why doesn't the high explosives destroy the device before a nuclear reaction can start?"

first?

We have scientists at the South Pole in a facility that is not self sustaining. In an emergency, they are stranded in bad weather.

Fifteen years ago, in Arizona a self sustaining habitat was created to show how living environmentally is the best. They had to pump in oxygen within ten days.

How can we even consider something on the moon, or even in orbit, when we cannot do it here in an oxygen atmosphere.

If you had to build something using Plank's length theory.
How big would it be and what would it probably be made of?

It doesnt make sense to me cause the escape velocity of the Earth´s pull is 7 miles a second.. so u would think that once the spacecraft litterally shoots away from the gravity force it would keep a constant speed in its way to the orbit of the satellite where it would slowdown with retro rockets. At 7 miles a second ( wich is an unbelievable speed) it would take the astronauts 9.5 hours instead of 72 it actually took. Also is it possible to fire any object straight up, not being tangencial to Earth, to overcome our gravity?

Series circuit connected to a d.c power supply of 12volts

R1 300ohms
R2 480ohms
R3 220ohms

is the total resistance 1000ohms?

is the total circuit supply current, 12/1000=0.012A?

the potential difference in volts across EACH resistor?

R1 300*0.012=3.6v?
R2 480*0.012=5.76v?
R3 220*0.012=2.64v?

3.6+5.76+2.64=12v?

Parallel circuit connected to a d.c power supply of 12volts

how do i calculate the total circuit resistance?
is it 300+480+220=1000ohms?

how do i calculate the total circuit supply current?

is this how to calculate the current through each resistor?
12v/300=0.04A
12v/480=0.025A
12v/220=0.054A

total= 0.119A?
