My Math is High School Math. However, I've been asking this question to Math teachers over and over and never really got a decent answer. So, what's wrong with this my proof below that Zero is an odd number?
Zero Factorial = 1 (0!=1). I don't know why. That's what I've been always told though.
Even or Odd goes in this fashion AFAIK:
* even × even = even;
* even × odd = even;
* odd × odd = odd.
So, whetever the equation is which comes up with 0!=1 it doesn't contain an even number. Hence 0 is an odd number.
