Is there a logical difference between possiblity and probability?

When the term 'odds' is used, is that refering to "possiblity" or "probability", or does it have its own unique definition?

When the term 'chance' is used, is that refering to "possiblity" or "probability", or does it have its own unique definition?

Using the Powerball lottery as an example, is there a difference between the possiblity and the probability of the numbers 1 through 6 being drawn (in exact numerical order)?

I've argued that the POSSIBLITY of 1 through 6 being drawn in exact numerical order has the same POSSIBILITY as any other numbers being drawn in any order ... but that the PROBABILITY of 1 through 6 being drawn in exact numerical order is much lower then any other numbers being drawn. Am I right or wrong?

I conducted a survey (n=30) where people could give a score (e.g. on a scale of 1-5) on how they liked a product. I then took a subset from this survey (e.g. n=12) who meet certain criteria (e.g. they are wealthy). For both n=30 and the subset n=12 I calculated the mean of the scores and the confidence levels using the standard deviations (e.g. for n=30, the mean range is 2.9-3.3, for n=12 it's 3.1-3.8). How do I test if the two means are statistically different. Do I just have to check if the mean ranges overlap? If so, are they then statistically indifferent? What if the ranges are 2.8-3.3 and 3.3 to 3.7, does this count as an overlap?

x + y = -4
x - y = 2

x + y = 10
y = x + 8

3x + y = 5
4x - 7y = -10

y - 2x = -5
3y - x = 5

Although the general and main thinking is that nothing can go faster than light; are black holes not proof that it is possible to go faster than light?Albeit it would be light that's going faster than it's self, it still shows that it is possible to go faster than 186,000 m\s.

Becuase the speed of light alone doesnt cause blackholes. The light has to be accelerated fast enough too cuase a tear in the universe

We though the sound barrier couldnt be broken, and obviously we have planes that faster than sound. More than likely eventually someone will come up for a design for a vehicle that can go faster than light.

Agree or disagree? Why or why not?

I think the above constraint means that the multiple must look like 111000 but not 111001 etc.

I am really bad when it comes to maths questions like this, so I really appreciate it guys, when someone takes the time to come up with an answer and post it.

However, could you please include all your workings in your answer. I'm hoping that I'll be able to understand questions like this from looking at the workings and then be able to apply that understanding to similar questions.

Again, thanks in advance to anyone that gives answers.
