LX-5 meade?

Can I fit a new Meade 10" f-10 Schmidt-Cassegrain Optical Tube Assembly with UHTC Coatings to my old LX-5 forks thus saving 2k?
I dont mind going object to object manualy , so just upgrading the OTA would be ok with my .. is it adaptable?

I emailed meade and they basicly said "why would you want to?" well 1300 vs 2900$ is why .. but meade said they were not sure.. lol

My gut says yes but I'd call Meade or a reputable scope shop if your decision is based on reusing the fork and drive
