[what?] = -80 / (100 x 80) = -0.01

The answer is -0.01. To figure out any of these, simply do the following.

1) Perform all of the mathmatical calculations using real numbers.

100 x 80 x [what?] = -80
8000 x [what?] = -80

2) Get all of the real numbers on the same side of the equal sign.
(You do the opposite of the math sign on the other side of the equal sign when you move the number. For example if it says to multiply it on one side, then you would divide it on the other. It is says to add it on one side you would subtract it on the other.)

8000 x [what?] = -80
[what?] = -80/8000

3) Now complete all the math using real numbers again.

[what?] = -80/8000
[what?] = -0.01

You should be able to use this process for any problem. Good Luck!!
