I have noticed in my area that the summer was not nearly as hot or the winter nearly as cold. I understand global warming or the theory of it. However it still seems like it happened suddenly.

When we think of a black hole, we picture in our minds eye a two diminsional plane with a funnel shaped hole. This veiw is limiting especially if a black hole is three dimensional entity similar to our sun.

In earlier times people thought the sun was actually a large flood lamp like the ones they use in hollywood. (no doubt some people who actually still believe the sun is a large flood lamp will have difficulty resisting this question.)

If you think black holes exist as three dimensional entities attracting/emitting matter omnidirectionally, please share your veiw.

if we dont use these embryos then we cant get stem cells to cure many uncurable diseases. If stem cell research is going to save millions of lives across the US, then how can we say no to stop trying to save lives by killing only a group of cells. If we stop stem cell research then how can we cure Parkinsons, diabetes, and other diseases that cant be currently cured. So my question to you is do we stop stem cell research and let millions of people suffer, or do we continue the research and hopefully find a cure to these diseases?

Find the slope and y-intercept for the line x – y = 4.

y= mx + b
m is the slope
b is the intercept

x - y = 4
x - y + y = 4 + y
x = 4 + y
x - 4 = 4 + y - 4
x - 4 = y
slope = 1
intercept = -4

Teacher comment:
Minus 1 because an intercept is a POINT, not a number. Minus 1 for no solution checks. Check your intercept.

You have five rays: ray AB, BC, BD, BE, BF. the rays AB and BC form a straight angle. rays BD, BE, and BFcome out of point B on line AC. What is the minimum and Maximum number of complementary angles, and what is the minimum and maximum number of supplementary angles?

I've been stressed out by this problem for a day. I don't think that the rays have to be on the same plane, but I'm not sure. Anything helps! Thanks!
