How do you know that your green isn't my blue and vice versa? No one can see through anothers eyes, so it could very well be...think about it!

The grass is green because like all other plants, grass produces chlorophyll from its metabolism, which is a pigment that absorbs all other wavelengths of light except green, so green is the color that we see grass in.
The sky is blue for a similar reason, namely that chemical elements in the air absorb all the other colors of the electromagnetic spectrum except blue, which is reflected down to earth and into our eyes when we stare upwards on a less cloudy day.
