My map gives 67 "Sutton" places and 59 "Stoke" in Britain, but only one of each in the US. My Europe map lists 37 places called "Santa Maria" plus 10 "Sainte-Marie", and two "St. Mary" but it's a small map, there may be more. Is any name commoner in the US than Avon --- I can find 21 Avons, including the Avondales and Avonvales.

I don't mean prefixes like New, Santa, and Stary of course, I mean the substantial core of the name. For example, on this criterion I count Stoke St. Mary in Somerset as a Stoke, but not as a St. Mary.

I know that it's possible to survive in a hard vacuum, disregarding the lack of oxygen; but how long would it be before the temperature of the human body reaches freezing, taking into account that heat loss will be fairly slow without a medium to transmit heat away?
