Why do girls usually work better than boys in exams?

In boys, it is in their nature to build muscles and grow strong and so they mostly enjoy playing sports etc and moving around (in other words fidgiting)... and combined with their growing interest in gals = disruptive~ but this does not occur in all boys... girls, however, usually have a larger attention span and less easily distracted. Therefore, overall girl's performance is usually better than boys in exams. However, boys generally possess a more determined mind, thus, if they want to achieve they can do extremely well in exams. (but there are always exceptions as everyone is an individual)

Study in India has shown that on an average girls have fared better than boys in all subjects except mathematics and science.(in last 25 years). Moreover here is a little unknown fact: If you are a boy, before appearing for an exam, eat less than normal. If you are a girl, eat as much as you like. This really helps the brain to function at its best.

Biologically
Most of the girls are calm in nature thus their ability to concentrate on a particular job is better then the boys
On other hand boys have aggressive nature thus their interest are many fold

One can easily argue upon the above statement by saying that boys have achieved more heights than girls in various fields.....but after all girls have not beeen provided as many chances as boys are provided with.
Now as per your question......Gals culd easily beat over boys as they put their whole attension and will power in what ever they do.
But boys do lack it as they are over confidence......they hurry up doing everything thus, leaving a mess behind......but as Gals do everything wid pateince and attension......they succeeed in whatever they do........!!!! :)

Because they are smarter. And about the maths thing, I think it is social stereotypes that convince girls they are not as good at maths, because they are not oriented in jobs like engineering, etc. I grew up with no such stereotypes in my family and I developed equally mathematic and linguistic skills.
