The friction test is carried out in summer on an annual basis. In spite of pretty heavy runway usage, the friction coefficient improved. Is this possible or was the test a flop?

F=GMm/d*d. take the case of centre of earth. "d"between us n the earth is 0, then won't force be infinity?!

u must be knowing any number /0 is not defined. so what would happen to the attraction b/w us and the earth? look kinda similar to black holes. gravity becomes infinity? not defined? plz explain.

How do two green eyed people have brown eyed children?

The oversimplified explanations of eye colour I've heard have always described the brown eye 'gene' as being dominant...clearly not in my family!
If it helps the only person with brown eyes in my family is a great uncle on my dad's side.

I do know a fair amount about biology (just not complex genetics) so don't be afraid to make it complex and point me towards papers in PRJs and so on.

does a bullet fired into the air have the velocity to kill when it returns to earth?

when a rifle or hangun is fired upwards the bullet inevitably returns to earth, will it kill if it hits a person, or will it lose velocity at it's zenith and fall harmlessly to earth ?

How do Venusian phases prove heliocentrism?

Copernicus demonstrated that we live in a heliocentric solar system by showing that that Venus has phases like Luna does, and that this could only be the case if Venus orbits Sol. Why is this so? Of course, I don't doubt that our solar system is heliocentric and that Copper Knickers knew what he was talking about, but why couldn't Venus display lunar-like phases if it orbited our planet? After all, Luna does.
