Proxima, a red dwarf, is 4.26 light years from us.

It depends on how fast you go. It would take light almost 9 years to get to Alpha Centauri and back. It would take the voyager space craft about 200,000 years. That is because light travels at about 700,000,000 miles per hour but Voyager is only going 30,000 miles an hour.

the distance to Alpha centauri is 4.7 light years. if you fly at the speed of light it takes 9.4 years. if you travel by bicycles, say at 30 Km/hour it will take a lot longer

Alpha Centauri is at a distance of 4.3 light years from earth. our maximum speed is 25,000 km/h so you can calculate it yourself.
