# Eye: A strong tropical cyclone will harbor an area of sinking air at the center of circulation. Weather in the eye is normally calm and free of clouds (however, the sea may be extremely violent). The eye is normally circular in shape, and may range in size from 3 km to 320 km (2 miles to 200 miles) in diameter. In weaker cyclones, the CDO covers the circulation center, resulting in no visible eye.

What takes place is silence, shock, dead air and stupid people walking/driving around to check out the damage so far.

Saw a couple go out in a Lexus in the eye of Wilma. Winds were picking up as they drove back into the parking lot of the apartment building we were in. We watched from the second floor as the wind blew the driver's side door open so hard it bent the hinges so they couldn't close the door all the way. The second half of the storm slammed the door open and shut continually, completely destroying the interior and front quarter panel as well. I hope whatever they HAD to go look at was worth it!

It's the point at which the gateway between hell and the earth is opened.

I've heard that the evil is actually the source of hurricanes. It generally starts out as a low pressure system and develops into a tropical depression and eventually a hurricane. It's at this point that evil forces are so great, that anything caught in the path of the hurricane, goes directly to hell, no questions asked.

Millions and Millions of miniature "Al Gores" spin violently around the center of the storm silently mouthing in ecstasy "I told you so, I told you so!" While a Giant Squid with an enormous "Michael Moore" head eats up all the hurricane hunter planes that penetrate the vast wall of clouds. Meanwhile on the Flying Dutchman a bagpipe band plays Amazing Grace and Vaquitas (a endangered species of miniature dolphin from the Sea of Cortez) bask in the unexpected privacy of the cylindrical squall.
