The REAL one word answer is EQUILIBRIUM. The entire universe itself, along with everything in it, is striving to reach equilibrium. That one word encompasses CHANGE, which is the second best absolute. Everything is in a constant of change while trying to reach equilibrium. That is the precise answer to your question.

This question can only work for an Atheist who is playing a joke on people.

There is no a priori knowledge or empirical evidence suggesting such a thing.

Yet, your question presumes the existence of such an absolute, and your question at least hints that you think you know what it is.

Excuse me while I ROTFLMAO.

OK, I'm back, and I think I may have the answer.

People do think they 'know' things that are really just 'belief' - I know the difference because there is an epistemology of human knowledge - and I know what it is.

So, depending on the answer you select, my answer will be either:

1. This is a trick question, or

2, arrogance and ignorance (you probably know it as religion)

As Homo Sapiens, our senses and intelligence are not sufficently developed to comprehend an universal absolute. But I'll bet you think you can answer your own question. It will have to be based on faith. Please go to the religion page.
