that, due to some of the stupendously stupid questions and answers on this particular section of the site, that we should remove safety labels off things and not allow any litigation on any part and just let stupid people sort thermselsves out?

I'm all for asking questions if you don't know something, but if you choose to ignore the basic fundamentals of science just so you can try and cook up an answer to support your own idotic version of science then do it elsewhere. Examples that i have seen are people ignoring Newtons laws of motion, one guy stating that the moon was an optical illusion. One particular user stated we should have a report stupidity button as well, which I'm all for.

How can we advance as a species if we still have the "I'll just keep smoking while I fill up my car" brigade knocking around. I think the darwin awrads may be on to something here, they should be celebrated like the oscars. Sorry, I'm tired and a little hacked off with stupidity at the moment.

and we're talkin', like, stone, steel, flesh, bones, 'n' space age alloys. would it need to be made of a conventionally strong (ie, steel-like) material? if this super string could exist, could it be bonded to the edge of a sword, to transfer its amazing cutting powers, or would it just cut through the sword, itself? can we make such lines, today? serious answers, please. non-fictive references would be appreciated.

Notwithstanding the fact that the number of eletrons and protons in each atom is equal leaving no unattended subatomic particle. That is, each atom has a balanced structure than why does the need arise to fill the outermost electron orbit upto its full capacity. Addition of extra electrons to an atom should also increase the number of protons. There is something that is probably missed by me or remain unexplained to me.
