A janitor at a motel is covering for the clerk while he is in the restroomand 3 men walk in wanting 1 room. The janitor, not knowing the correct rates, says $10 a person for a total of $30. When the clerk comes back and finds out, he tells the janitor the rate for 1 room is $25 and that the janitor needs to give $5 in change. So, with no way to split $5 among 3 people, the janitor pockets $2 and give $1 to each of the 3 men.

(now the problem)
If each man paid $10 and got $1 in change, than they each paid $9. $9 multiplied 3 times is $27. The janitor pocketed $2 for a total of $29. So where is the last dollar to total the original charge of $30?

We have a project in chemistry. We need to do experiments. Can you guys give me a problem/experiment we could do? Something like what is better this or this... Ex:what is better a phosphate or a phosphate-free experiment. I would appreciate it if you could give me the ingredients and procedure. We can't use the detergent since our teacher rejected it. Thanks!

Everybody thinks that they never went for numerous reasons including the fact that the flag was waving. I hope next time they go back to the moon or even on their arrial at Mars that they ruffle the flag roughly to show people how little it moves.... You think NASA is sick of the accusations?

Stange noises and voices as well as sightings hve been going on in my apartment. I never have experianced something like this. My friend and I recorded some voices that one is saying, "Don't give up". The other one starts out the same way sounding like broken glass or weird chime sounds, but we just hear some type of yelling afterword. We sent the voices to a ghost hunter a friend told us to go to. Now awaiting results. I just feel like I am being watched. Anyone else ever deal with this?
