No. Most bumble bees are solitary, therefore they are either male or female. The sting is a modified ovipositor (which is why queens and drones in hive bees cannot sting because the queen has an ovipositor and the drone, being male, does not). In solitary bees, the ovipositor is just that and cannot be used in defence, so bumble bees do not sting.
I take you are referring to a yellow TAILED bee!

All bees with one exception can sting, but only once. They die when they sting.
The exception is the queen bee. She doesn't have a sting and is bigger than all the other bees.

blurrgghh i've never been close enough to see if it has a yellow nose or not...usually too busy running round garden wiv arms in the air screaming ''it's a bee it's a bee!!!!!!''
