Consider that because our retinas detect the light that fall upon them allowing us to see, we might be blind. Also if we are exceeding the speed of light that does not mean the surrounding light is as well.

Because they are orbiting the earth at exactly the same rate as there spaceship. (orbiting means falling towards and moving away at the same rate). They appear to be weightless, but are not.

If the spaceship stopped they would fall to Earth pretty rapidly.

Do we just asume they breathe air like us? We go into space and wear special suits so we can breathe and also have gravity boots so we dont fly away. We expect all alien planets have the same gravitational force as earth which I doubt would ever be true. The same sun light, heat, air etc etc etc............. lol just a thought!
