You don't really need to. You can use any type of oil. My uncle has used motor oil (not recommended!) to run his truck. He has also used used cooking oil AFTER it has been filtered.

"There are at least three ways to run a diesel engine on biofuel using vegetable oils, animal fats or both. All three are used with both fresh and used oils.

Use the oil just as it is -- usually called SVO fuel (straight vegetable oil);

Mix it with kerosene (paraffin) or petroleum diesel fuel, or with biodiesel, or blend it with a solvent, or with gasoline;

Convert it to biodiesel."

veg. oil is acidic & has to be neutralized with a base. lime i think. & filtered. useable only with modified diesel.
search hint= when u search 4 topic put you search words in quotation marks "making biodiesel " & you only get results 4 that exact sequence of words. cuts down search results & simplifies!
