I think drilling for different things inside the Earth, (oil, gold, etc.) can't be good for the planet. It's like extracting spare parts in a car and then expecting that car to drive the same way.

Am I wrong? What if it takes like... oh, I don't know...2008 years before we feel the effects on a level we can comprehend? Shouldn't we so something about it now, before we are in the stage where we see it on every news channel with a doomsday headline?

Bling bling, and sliver, and metal is great, but... aren't we kind of altering or shifting the Earth's mass? I'm no scientist, but we're messing with gravitons and things we as a scientific community don't even have a handle on yet.

What if, with all our drilling and excavation, we end up doing something so drastic that we can't go back? What then?

Why does my TV pick up a radio station, and how do I make it stop?

My TV is picking up a radio station -- 103.1 FM -- and plays it through the speakers. It gets really annyoing while watching TV and DVDs. The radio plays even when the TV volume is muted, and it also plays even when the cable box and/or DVD player are turned offm so it seems to be a problem with the TV. I moved the TV to the opposite side of the room, but it didn't help.

My old TV did this as well even though it was made by a different company. My computer speakers (which are in the same room) also pick up the same station, but they don't play it as loudly or as clearly. The other electronics in the house -- which are in different rooms from the problem TV & speakers -- don't have this problem. How do I make it stop?! Please help!!!

Today the computer beat the Chinese chess world champ team (I thought chinese chees would hold a bit longer for this man machine race but sorry, no).
Chess has always been the classic IQ test, where the rules are simple, but strategic and logic inference is prime.

I remember watching the Learning Channel. There was something about Sexyness and Genes. Or maybe it was the Discovery Channel. How come even the non-sexy people can be umong us.The sexy ones. Even though. Natural Selection only favours the sexiest to reproduce successfully. I mean, how can the people who go on Jerry Springer even exist ? Since, these people aren't even as sexy as the rest of us. I would like to use this opportunity over the Internet to meet a girl. That's like Christianna Celeste. From that Standard Deviants video. I just want a girl to hold and tickle and kiss all over. All aplicants will be taken seriously. Sayonara Senoritas.
