Trying to Conceive - October 2006

[Selected]: All categories Pregnancy & Parenting Trying to Conceive

I have not had a period since August 8th 2006. I have been ttc for a little over a year now. No such luck. Around September 8th I had a little pink spotting but my period never came. I had some blood tests for FSH and my LH levels. My tests just came back, but I didn't have time to wait for an interpretation with the doctor-and they won't tell me what the results mean. I am trying to find out if my levels are normal, and what they mean. I am not having any luck on the internet. The FSH is 1.9 MIU/ML and my LH was 1.2 MIU/ML Please help me... also I was having some light bleeding today. I dunno if it's af. But, all fo my urine preg tests have came up negative... Today it seems as if my period is coming which makes this cycle a 65 day cycle. I know that it is not that likely that I am ovulating or able to conceive with cycles this long. The doctor ruled out PCOS for now b/c I didn't have any cysts showing with the u/s. I was given a option of b/c-and that will prevent conception... Help!

Here are my cycles for the last 6 months.

41 days
29 days
32 days
34 days
43 days
26 days

I have a period every month but they are always a day late, or a few days early, or a week late. This has posed many problems in trying to figure out when I ovulate each month. Would a fertility monitor work for me? Should I worry about fertility issues because of my erratic periods? I talked to my gynecologist about it and he said that as long as I am having a period every month that I shouldn’t worry…I don’t have painful periods at all…Any advice would be gladly taken as my husband and I have been ttc now for 6 months.

I already asked this in pregnancy, but people ask questions so fast in that category that my question is already way down the line, and I only have a couple of answers. So I'm reposting it here.

I woke up this morning at 3 a.m. with nausea that was just like extra acid that wouldn't go away, I felt like I wanted to puke but could hold it. I feel like I could burp puke. It's different from my last preg because then I had hardly any Morning sickness, and when I did, it'd be a wave of nausea then I'd be ok. Yesterday my BBT went down in the morning, it had been going down, but then later that day and today it's been up. I thought AF was coming early yesterday because of cramps, but she didn't. The cramps stopped and now I feel like puking, but the HPT was neg. My AF isn't due for a couple of days but it's kind of late for implantaion, it's l11 days after ovulation. I could have that date wrong, though I'm pretty sure it's right.
My last prg was a miscarrage so thats a good sign right?

I am 28 years old. I have had 3 children. I had a miscarriage 2 years ago. And since then I have not been able to get pregnant. I hadd an ultrasound and all was fine. The doctor tested my hormone levels and all was fine. My periods are irregular now since the miscarriage as well when before they were every 28 days now they are between 24 and 28. I am pretty down right now because I have no idea whats going on.

I have been diagnosed with PCOS. I'm seeing a great specialist, but I want to do some more research on my condition and see if there is anything I can to improve my chances of conceiving and make myself healthier. Do you know of any good sources?

I got pregnant twice before and sadly I had a termination. I felt I was not ready and I was not in the right position in life to bring a child into the world.

But now I am trying, I have tried for a few months but nothing is happening, I am not on the pill either :( is it a sign that I am no longer fit to be a mother by God and that I dont deserve any?

Last month was our first month trying, and i think the mistake we may have made was that we only had sex the days leading up to and on the day of ovulation and maybe 1 day after that. Now I am not sure if the ovulation calander was accurate cause i heard ovulation times can vary each month. This time around, we had sex 10 out of the 23 in between periods, and we spaced it out up to and including today! I am due for my period on the 13th of october, any thoughts on if it will be successful this time around??

we are trying to conceive for last eight months and no result. we consulted a doctor and she told us to wait for another three months before checkup..my husband has undergone a sperm analysis and the result is not so good..the count is 3% where 4%is supposed to be the minimum count..motility is also very less..my friend advised me to visit a doctor to find out whether there is a vericose vein in the testicles which may cause blockage..but according to my belief vericose veins are usually seen on the legs..she said that if there is a vericose vein he might have to remove it through surgery...we are planning to see the doctor in december..in india...does anybody have a similar situation? kindly reply..
