I have not had a period since August 8th 2006. I have been ttc for a little over a year now. No such luck. Around September 8th I had a little pink spotting but my period never came. I had some blood tests for FSH and my LH levels. My tests just came back, but I didn't have time to wait for an interpretation with the doctor-and they won't tell me what the results mean. I am trying to find out if my levels are normal, and what they mean. I am not having any luck on the internet. The FSH is 1.9 MIU/ML and my LH was 1.2 MIU/ML Please help me... also I was having some light bleeding today. I dunno if it's af. But, all fo my urine preg tests have came up negative... Today it seems as if my period is coming which makes this cycle a 65 day cycle. I know that it is not that likely that I am ovulating or able to conceive with cycles this long. The doctor ruled out PCOS for now b/c I didn't have any cysts showing with the u/s. I was given a option of b/c-and that will prevent conception... Help!

Ok, this is what I have been through and what I did. I have always had irregular periods. I only would get like 2 or 3 a year. I went to the doctor to try and find out what was wrong with me. As I knew that I probably would not get pregnant on my own. And I was told that because I was so young. I was 19, I got married at 17. My husband is 11 years older than I. That the doctors would not help me. We had no financial problems, a new house, 2 new cars, and 2 dogs. We just wanted a baby. Well like I said they refused to help me. So I took matters into my own hands. I learned how to chart my tempatures to see if I was ovulating. Well of course I wasn't. I then called a natropathic doctor, who put me on some herbs. I was put on an herbal blend called FERTILITY BLEND. You can get it at GNC or online. I took this for 2 weeks and got a period. 3 months later, after getting a regular periods during this time, I was pregnant. I now have a 2 1/2 year old healthy and beautiful little girl. I know for a fact that if it wasn't for taking the herbs she would not be here. If you don't want to take herbs, which I will understand. Then you can still chart and try and find out if you are ovulating. There is a book called Taking Charge Of Your Fertility that will help you learn to do this. And I am sure if your doctor is willing to help they should be able to look at charts and tell you what is going on. There are also meds that a doc. can put you on. There is a pill called Clomid that will induce ovulation, the doc. will see if your ovaries have released an egg and see if fertilization has occured. If that doesn't work the next step would be Gonal-F injections. I hope I have helped you. Good luck. If you need to talk I will be here. I know what you are feeling.

First of all the nurse should tell you what the test results mean: normal or whatever. I would keep calling until she told me. Meanwhile, you are more than likely having your period right now with the spotting as you did in September. Stress and worry can cause your hormones and your cycles to get out of whack. There is a little pill, that you take for seven days, that will make you start. I can't remember the name of it but it starter with a "P". My doctor gave it to me several times when I was ttc; and my cycles were so screwed up. Good Luck!

Try taking some over the counter folic acid and eating foods high in folic acid, trust me it works, that is how I got pregnant.

Have your body fat checked. If your body fat is too low, menstrual periods will stop, and you can't get pregnant because your body is not able to handle it.
