Trying to Conceive - October 2006

I have been told since giving birth to my son 2 yrs ago, that my uterus is tilted. Aparently it wasn't before delivery, but now it is. I'm trying to conceive again, but curious if this will affect my pregnancy or delivery at all?

We know that there are some factors which accelerate human spermatogenesis (the simple discovery that the partner has sex with a different individual makes the discoverer produce more sperm). my curiousity was if there are some factors which could make the female ovulate earlyer, or maybe twice a month.

I went to my obgyn last year and spoke to him about wanting to have a baby with my husband. Since my periods at the time were very irregular he put me on Clomid, birth control pills, and told me to take my BBT, he even gave me a chart to log it. After taking the pills and taking my BBT every morning before I even got out of bed I realized that my temperature was no where on that chart. I had to alter it because my morning temp was anywhere from 95 to 96 and the chart when from 97 to 100. Is this unusual? Oh, and does anyone know who can do a sperm count for my guy? He's too embarrassed to ask my doctor and won't let me ask either. I think if he found a doctor on his own he might be more inclined to have the test done. Who am I kidding, men don't like knowing that their "soldiers" can't make the long journey home.LOL. Thanks for reading.

I'm on month 4 of clomid 1st round at 150 mgs. Low proegterone levels so far, so no ovulation. I am on day 3 of the clomid and am experiencing thick egg white mucus. I also had this last month, but then it dries up around the time that I am supposed to ovulate, could I be ovulating already. Any suggestions?

Ok here goes my story book. I'm married and have been TTC. On Sep.2nd I bled light and for 3 days and I haven't had any bleeding since. Currently I'm 13 days late for my period. Took a home test last week and it came out very faint positive. Now today I went to the DR. and they did a urine test and blood and BOTH came out Negative. What the hell?
My nipples are tender, I'm tired, My lower abdomen is bloated, moody, seems like I pee more often, dizzy, get a headache about every other day.

ok so I'm trying to understand the family planning method. I know it's not fool-proof and there's a chance I could get pregnant (and yes I'm prepared to raise another child should that happen).

So, is this correct? I have my period right now, just started today, it will probably be completely finished by Tuesday or Wednesday (Oct.17th - 18th). so if I have sex on the 20th, 21st, or 22nd, I probably won't get pregnant right?

Has anyone else been disappointed so many times that you didn't even want to take a HPT even though you think you are pregnant?

I been having cramps for some time now and no period. I'm late but I'm scared to test cuz I know I'm going to be disappointed if the results read negative yet again. My husband and I have been trying since we got married. Each time I think my period is coming or I get a negative result I get upset. I just can't take the disappointment so I don't even want to test. Anyone else out there feel this way?

I took an ovulation predictor test this morning. I had one solid dark purple line and 1/2 of a lighter line. What does this mean? Will I get my lh surge tomorrow? Was the test bad? And if I get my lh surge tomorrow, when should we have sex?

I have been charting my cycle for the last 4 months. Every month my period came the exact day it was expected, except for this month. I am now 4 days late and have taken 2 HPT both with a negative result. Should I go see my doctor or wait it out??? Just a question about the preg symptom about Frequent urination. Do you literally keep going to the bathroom and peeing a lot each time, or does it tend to feel like a bladder infection where u think u need to, but u don't really have a lot. I'm 16dpo and i was noticing that constant feeling like it could trickle out, but i didn't necessarily have to pee a ton. I don't have pain like a bladder infection.

Is it still possible to get pregnant after you "ovulation" days? I was ovulating around the 9th to 11th so is only a few days ago... And also, I heard that lying down after sex is the best way of getting pregnant, with a cushoin under your butt, but is this always necessary? I told my mother this last night and she hit the roof and she is stillnot talking to me even though she has got her way, im taking the pill this morning!! she said that she wants me to have kids when she has time and when she has got more money and when she can buy it things and when she can spend time with it and that i wouldnt be able to cope and that my partner is forcing me into it and that if i get pregnant she will never speak to me again and im acting like an idiot and im a dissapointment, i caved in and followed her orders, i dont live with her, my parter and i have had a house built within my parents lands, we dont have loads of money and we do have bills to pay just like everyone else and we have thought the whole thing through. Do you think my mother is right or do you think i should stop following her orders, i always give in for a quiet life and not to upset anyone in the family, but am i right doing this or am i just stupid for paying attention to what she says?

Had my day 21 blood test yesterday after taking clomid 100mg from days 5-9. I dont think I ovulated until day 18. Rang today and my result had come back in as 11. Not really sure what this means and doctor was away so couldnt ask. Can anyone help with advice???
