Trying to Conceive - October 2006

My husband and I are trying to have a baby. My last period was 9/20 and it lasted for 3 days. We tried to get pregnant 10/7 was it too late in a 30 day cycle?

I've recently had a baby and although I know I don't want another one for a while (3 or 4 years) I do know I want another one. I was really depressed when I was pregnant (not cos of the baby but cos of hormones) and horrible to my husband. Now I know he doesn't want to go through another pregnancy in case I'm the same again. I know I won't be cos I have my little girl to put first now. He also has another daughter from a previous relationship so think he feels like he has "finished" but I'm not! What should I do?

I get a free flu shot every year through my work. I am signed up to get my shot this year next month. My husband and I are going to try for our first baby two months after I get the shot. I definately will not be pregnant until at least 2 months after getting the shot.

It will be okay for me to get the shot, right? I wanted to make sure.

I have heard lots about the woman losing weight to increase chances of conception but what if the man is considerably overweight? Does that affect it too? Also, what about his drinking habits? He drinks a little more than he probably should. Also he is almost 40,(almost 2 months away) so could that have an effect on TTC. I am 30

My husband and I have a six month old daugther. We were both hoping to have a boy just because we wanted our future children to have a big brother to watch out for them, but are glad to have her--she's a joy and beautiful (she looks like her daddy...). We are ready for another, but we would really like to have a boy. Either way--it will be a blessing, but we'd like to try. Does any one know of any scientific studies or even old wives tales on how to have a boy?
We are already trying to conceive, and as quickly as we "made" our daughter, it might be too late, but I thought I'd ask just in case...

I would like to know, from where can I get the right and relevant information on different positions of having sex. Well we both love sex, had done is many times during the day and night and when not is the question. Well Where can I get this info. Can anyone help me out here. The reason being, we both have tried only 9 positions, like to explore more, but need to know where to get the right information and how many positions are available???

My boyfriend and I are trying to have a baby. I started taking prenatal vitamins and drinking a lot more water, instead of coffee and soda. Is there anything else I could do to increase my chances of getting pregnant? Any certains foods I can eat, or anything else I can do?

I know when ovulation is occuring for me because my mucus change I see the clear creamy but after that I dry up but I want to know what can I do to increase this because I suppose to be seeing slippery and wet right?

I have read some things about clomid on yahoo answers and it seems some people may be on it longterm. Does this mean they take it every day or just a few days per month? also, how does that improve fertlity?

me and my boyfriend are trying for a baby last week we had sex about 5 times and on sunday we had sex 3 times but alot of his sperm came back out of me?! also on sunday i came on my period on the first day it jst looked lyk implantation blood the second day i was quite heavy and now i have completly stoppd could i be pregnant if not what is going on?

Before my daughter was born, I was on a dead-on 28 day cycle. From July-August and August-September, my cycle has been 25 days long. It has now been 26 days. Can I take the test tomorrow or should I wait till day 29? Since I've had my daughter, even when I was on the pill, my period has been coming early. I just don't want to test too soon and it come out negative when it is a positive. I'm not asking "am I pregnant." I'm just asking if I can take the test tomorrow morning and get an accurate read.

Im so confused, but kinda excited. I know you people arent doctors but i just want to know your opionions on what is going on with me. Okay my last period was about Sep. 18th. My hubby and i have had sex twice unprotected and he came in me both times. Well one was lastnight so that doesnt really count. This morning i woke up and i threw up as i was making the boys breakfast. My right lower side hurts, but just a faint on and off pain. My lower back is a little sore. Im not sure whats going on with me. If i want to be pregnant so bad that im imagining all of this. My cycles arent normal either so its tough for me to say when im due next. I will go buy a test i just cant get out to do that as i have young kids at home. So i just want a little input on what your first feelings were and how soon after did you experience them Thanks so much :)

I am trying to conceive. My cycle is very regular at 27 days. I last started on September 19th. On October 1st, the day I was indicated to ovulate, I started spotting that lasted for about 36 hours. It did, at one point, become bright red. Since then, I have been having menstrual type cramps and low back pain. I have also had an increase in clear vaginal discharge and frequent headaches. Was that ovulation bleeding or something else?

To make a long story short...I had a tubal reversal 7-22-05. April 06 found out I have Factor V Leiden (blood clotting disorder). Seeing fertility specialist-ran several tests. After having Angio procedure, I got a superficial blood clot. Dr. put me on Coumadin then switch to Heparin because we were wanting to get pregnant. No period in September so fertility specialist put me on birth control pills (which I questioned). Almost 2 weeks later, I got blood clot in my leg. My hemotologist says I will be ok to get pregnant-just have to increase Heparin dosage. Going to a different fertility specialist next week. Just looking for opinion on if you think it will be ok for me to get pregnant. I do have a 14-year old daughter now. My husband does not have any children of his own. Any thoughts would be greatly apprecaited! Thanks!!!

my boyfriend and i have being trying to have a baby for about 3 years now and nothing still havent happend yet. the doctor told me that i have cyst on my ovaries which causes my period not to come on every 28 days. i was wondering if i just stop stressing a let be whats what would it happen more effenctly and faster.i have been taking clomid for about 2 weeks and i had all the mood swings that pregnant get but my period came on monday,so if i have sex during my period now what are the odds of me getting pregnant?

I do not know what to do! My hubby and I are trying for a baby. Then after 2 months of trying I being to get early pregnancy signs. So I done 3 home pregnancy test and that all was negative. So I decide to do a blood test and that was also negative. But what warry's me my doctor told me that I am pregnant and it thus not make a diffrens if all the test are negative. But what if I make me ready for a baby to came in 9 months and the baby do not go? Good I realy be pregnant. Is looks like is. But do not know. The doctor said I am 2-3 months already. I went to Planned Parenthood tuesday afternoon and I had the worst visit ever. I just want to get a pregancy test but was recommended to take a blood test because my hormone level might be to low to show in my urine. I sat at the front desk area for at least one hour and it was just three of us(who haven't been seen/signed in yet). There was a lady in the office talking on the phone ignoring that we were standing out in the lobby area. We rang the bell three times and she still continued her conversation. She finally came out after one of the women keep knocking. She came out and helped one women with bc pick up and basically thru it at her. Then it was my turn...

I want to know if I could get a preggo test but instead I was couselled by a director of planned parenthood in Maryland who has no Ph.D or even a certified nurse. I asked her about a blood test if they have them? She tells me that know one in Maryland does them, and a urine test is 100% acurrate.

I have been cramping on the lower right hand side of my stomach two days ago. Me and my husband had sex 10/8, and 10/9. i believe thats when i ovulatated, of course, we've been trying for 8 months too. this morning, it felt like someone was pushing my lower stomach in, just alot of pressure. I've never felt that before. is that a sigh or should i be worried? My period is not due for another week and a half or so.

I have had the coil in for 5 years now and I heard that they last for up to 3 - 5 years but I am not sure what one I have. Do you think I may be pregnant because I had sex with my boyfriend in late September and I have been having a few symptoms like feelings sick, being very tired and emotional. But I came on my "period" on the date I was supposed to but It only lasted for a day and a half and it usually lasts for at least 7 days plus it doesnt seem like my period as I have not had no period pains, headaches and it wasn't as heavy as it usually is and more of a brownie reddish color. I am still feeling sick, like it maybe morning sickness. I really don't know what to think...

i had a somewhat of a period i guess it was for a day and a 1/2 ever sense then ive been haveng pains in my right ovary and not period cramps either... i want some advise i cant go to the doctor right now i dont have insureance i will have it nov 1st so i have to hold off untill then! i am always tired... can some one give me some advise on what can be going on

I came on my period on 9/21/06! On 10/5/06 I spotted for 2 times. Once around 10 am and again around 5 pm. I have not spotted again since then. The first time I spotted i was pregnant with my daughter. The second time I had a false pregnancy. I am impatient I really want to know if I am or not. Do I really need to wait until after my period to find out?
