If you are on a 28 day cycle then your next period after Sept. 4 should have been Oct. 2nd. Sometimes it takes a couple of months to regulate your periods once coming off the pill. The bleeding (if it was spotting) on Sept. 18th could have been from ovulation. The timing would have been right. Your next period should be due Oct. 30th which would make ovulation sometime between Oct. 14th - Oct. 16th. If you don't start by Oct. 30th I would wait until Nov. 6th before testing just incase your period isn't regulated yet. Hope this helped, good luck

Your cycle might not be accurate if you just stopped the pill. My first cycle after coming off the pill was 30 days but the cycle after that was 40 so it varies. Try temping or an opk test to see if you ovulate somewhere in the middle of your cycle usually around day 14-18.

Most doctors recommend waiting at least 3 cycles after stopping the pill before attempting to conceive.
