Could be many things. Some women just don't ovulate some months and have irregular ovulation when they do. Simple drugs can help with this. Also, a woman may have ovarian cysts or something wrong with the uterus to make it difficult. It could also be the sperm. Some sperm are weak and don't have the gusto to get to the egg. Have you been to a doc yet? It could be something really simple and easy to fix, so don't give up yet. But it's best to see the doctor before you panic. Hang in there.

The list is endless. Could be a number of things or it could be nothing that a doctor can figure out. If you ever really thought about it - it is literally a miracle to get pregnant. Everything has to be perfect. Then once you have conceived implantation is another huge hurdle. Then keeping the baby for 40 weeks is another miracle in itself.
Sometimes I think its a cruel penalty that God puts us through not being able to get pregnant. I was blessed with one child and I tried for 2 years with no success, which included 2 IVF's. That is nothing compared to some women, but I just can't understand why some are blessed to have children they do not want and the ones who do can't.

There are so many reasons it could be. I'm going on 2+ years and haven't conceived. I do have PCOS but it's very mild so basically our doctor is going with "unexplained". That happens too. It could be PCOS, blocked tube, low sperm count, hormone levels out of whack, I could go on.

There are a number of reasons. You might want to contact your doctor. My sister-in-law has cicts on her overies, and that causes her to not have kids, There are things you can do, but the longer you wait, the harder it is. She tryed for 5 years now. good luck
