Why does your doctor say you are pregnant - did he do a test himself, or get a blood test or ultrasound done? If so then i would trust his opinion. Once you are into your 3rd month he could also tell by feeling your tum as your uterious would have risen above your pelvic bone...

Home pregnancy tests work by detecting a pregnancy hormone within your body, once it reaches a certian level, the test will show as positive. Most tests are become perfectly effective 4-6 weeks after the start of your last period, however there are some newer tests that will work just 26 days after the start of your last period. Be sure to read the packet to know that you are performing the tests at the right time...

I can understand how hard it must be to accept the pregnncy as true when the tests you perform arent showing a positive result. I too would be wondering if maybe the doctor was wrong, or got your results mixed up with someone elses. If i were you i would visit the doctor again & ask for reasurance, tell the doctor why you find this hard to comprehend & request that another test be done to reasure you - most doctors are used to hearing the worries & fears of a pregnant woman & are happy to assist.

Do you get the 12 week nuchal fold scan in your area? If so, that will be your first look at baby & will make it all seem real to you. Later along the size & movement of your bump should be enough convince you that you are pregnant.

Take care & be sure to take your B vitamins & folic acid supplements.
I hope this helps

If you saw a doctor, and he said that YOU ARE pregnant, then don't worry about what the home tests say. Surely he has done his own blood work, and if you are 2-3 months preg, then he should of already found a heartbeat. Just relax, and go to all of your prenatal visits, and it will be fine! Good Luck!

Why would your doctor lie to you? If he/she says you're pregnant then you're pregnant! The urine and blood tests might be negative so far but you've probably had a pelvic exam which will also tell the doctor if you're pregnant. Go ahead and get ready.

If you're pregnant then your blood test should have been positive. If you have doubts try taking another over the counter preg. test. But be sure to do it with your first urine of the morning, that's when the hormones will be most concentrated. If you're still in doubt, get a second opinion.

Home pregnancy tests are not known for their accuracy, also everyone's hormones are different and yours just may not show up in home tests. Your body will soon start to show physical symptoms. Also, have you tried a different doctor, or Planned Parenthood?

What? Just take the first derivative with respect to x and set it equal to 0. Then back-solve for (x,y). If you forgot how to compute derivatives of basic polynomials, the chain rule tells us... y = ax^n + bx^n-1 + cx^n-2 + ... yx^2 + zx + k dy/dx = anx^n-1 + b(n-1)x^n-2 + c(n-2)x^n-3 + ... 2yx + z If you still can't figure it out, then there's no hope for you.

See a different doctor or take a test to a pharmacy and get a second opinion if you are still concerned.

Your doctor knows - forget the other tests and begin preparing for your child to come. Doctor can see and feel other things that those home tests can't. All they see is your pee. Be confident and enjoy your blessing!

I would trust the doctor..that is what he/she does for a living. In a few weeks, take a home test again and see.

I would trust the Dr. But go and get a second opinion if you'd like. I've never heard of anything like this before, so it leads me to want another opinion. Good luck.
