okay this is what happend i always check my ovulation i have the clear blue monitor and i did ovulate last month but this month the lg surge did not go up i had blood test done at my obgyn a few months ago and the hormones were normal and i want to know whats going on i did get a period last month so i dont hink im pregnant someone help thanks oh and by the way my periods are very regular thanks

and then I didn't get my period at all in july, and I should have gotten it around the 18th. It's now aug. 8. I also sometimes feel a little sickness in my stomach, and I've gained about 8 pounds recently. Could I be pregnant?

It's been 5 days since I've had sex last. I'm on the pill and have been almost two years. I take it every night and haven't missed a pill, although I don't always take it at the same time...but it's at the most 3 or 4 hours from the "regular" time. I'm supposed to get my period in about a week. I've been feeling that "gurgly" period feeling and cramps. Tonight, I've been having kind of bad cramps, feeling reeeeally nauseated and really tired. I havent been home since 8 this morning, so maybe that's why I'm tired. Also, I've been taking these "prostate" pills for my acne and new vitamins and didnt know if that would do anything to mess my pill up. Do you think pregnancy symptoms would start just 5 days after sex? Also, there was some TINY spots of blood. TINY. And only like three. What do you guys think? PMS or pregnant?

Is it weird that I'm jealous of a girl that is due like 5 days after I am had her baby already?
I just am getting so impatient and can't wait for her to come out, and have had all the signs she's coming but she won't. But, then a girl I know is due after me but has her baby before me.
I know I shouldn't be upset, but it's just that I am getting impatient...:(
I am 40 weeks pregnant and swear this child is planning on staying in until they turn 18.

I was reading an article on the RU486 abortion pill. This seems like such an easy way out. I'm pro-choice, but it seems that this pill may end up being used as a form of birth control. I'm no expert, but if all a woman has to do is pop a pill, I can;t see the 'old' abortion method sticking around too long.

Is this a pill that can be prescribed by a regular physician or gynecologist? Or does the woman have to go through someone like Planned Parenthood?

i applied for medicaid, and checked on my case information every day for the original 30 day waiting period. when i hadn't heard anything on my case, i called and spoke to a representative who told me i would need to provide certain information - proof of pregnancy signed by a doctor or nurse, my ID, and birth certificate before 15 days was up. i then received a letter in the mail stating that i needed to send in these documents in 10 days... i tried calling the worker multiple times to ask about getting an extension on the time allowed, but she never returned my phone calls. i faxed a letter; it was ignored. then i checked my case information online, and it said i was denied.

what can i do? i'm stressing out; i already waited 30 days + 15 to get this far only to be denied and ignored. now i am into my 4th month of pregnancy and haven't yet had any prenatal care; i'm scared and stressed out to the max. what should i do? i can't wait any longer and don't know where to go.

I just read a question about a woman who gave birth to a still born at 34 weeks, and being 34 weeks all of a sudden I became alarmed. I can't begin to imagine that heartache. So, what are the signs, if any that this might happen to you??

Hi my girlfriend and i were fooling around probably about 2 weeks ago and i ejaculated quite a bit of semen into her hands. can constipation during the last 2weeks of pregnancy trigger more contractions off i have had loads of braxton hicks and stronger stomach cramps which is causing pain at my groin are which is because my baby has dropped i think
but can it affect the contraction if i am constipated

I took a pregnancy test 3 days ago .. it showed up that i was pregnant. We were sooo happy.

But when i woke up this morning, to my surprise i had started my period.

Could i still be pregnant?

OK, we all know cigarrette, drugs and alcohold are bad (all the time but specially while pregnant). But I want to know exactly what is the damage they cause to the baby in each stage.

PS I am NOT using any drugs or drinking nor smoking.

I just want to know because everybody says "It's bad" but nobody seems to be able to say it is bad because....

First of all, I am a proud nursing mommy. I have nursed 6 children, one of them until he was 2.5 years old. I have nursed in public many times, however, I am as discrete as possible. I try to expose as little breast (by pulling my shirt up) as possible and then, after my baby has latched on, I drape a blanket over us.

This weekend, our family was at a carnival. As I was enjoying lunch with my boys and some of our friends, I saw a lady walking by. I had to take a double take because she was walking and nursing her baby - all the while her entire breast was exposed. She had on a tank top that had been pulled down and you could see everything but her nipple. There were well over a 1000 people walking around. She sat down next to us. Peering over, I saw her baby latch on to her other breast and caught a glimpse of the entire thing, nipples & all.

A part of me wants to give her a pat on the back. The other part of me wants to say, "please be more discrete".

I have a relative that is 30 years old, her career is finally going in the right direction, she has two young boys and has recently divorced. The problem is, she had a one night stand with someone that was a casual friend and now she's pregnant. She is talking about an abortion and wants my advice. Now she knows that I am a christian and Pro Life. I don't want to come across like I'm judging her. I love her and really feel for her situation. I am four weeks pregnant and I was already starting to show at 2 1/2 weeks. This is my second full-term pregnancy. I had a baby, got pregnant again, had a miscarriage, and got pregnant again. Is it normal for me to be showing so quickly at 2 1/2 weeks? Is bloating a pregnancy symptom by itself? I also have Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
