I took a pregnancy test 3 days ago .. it showed up that i was pregnant. We were sooo happy.
But when i woke up this morning, to my surprise i had started my period.
Could i still be pregnant?
Should i head to the doctors and get a blood test done?
=(

This is interesting, but not uncommon. There are a few possibilities here...
First, the pregnancy test could have been wrong, and you started your period.
Second, the pregnancy test was right, and your having complications that are leading to the bleeding.
The most important thing right now, is to see a doctor.
I see that you are not uncomfortable with this option, so that is your best bet. A doctor can tell you whether the pregnancy test was right or wrong, whether you started your period, and if your having complications.
I hope nothing's wrong, and I hope things turn out well for you.

First off, you have to calm down.... Either way freaking out will just make it worse! Here is my experience, I hope that it helps! I spotted at 5weeks, then 3 times more.... The last time was 16 weeks and it was a good proper bleed!! Each time I flipped out! I had no cramping or pain, my cervix was closed... All of my blood levels normal and each time baby was ok with heartbeat. The ER docs tried to figure it out to no avail... My OB did all kinds of tests and ultrasounds only to come up with the conclusion that all was well. She explained it just may be "sloughing" or, nothing at all. Unless you have painful cramps, heavy bleeding (enough to fill a pad in an hour), bleeding with blood clots or bleeding with a fever, I would try not to worry. Some women just spot during early pregnancy! If you have any of the above symptoms go to the ER immediately! I know it's hard but any time I stressed about it, it just got worse! The only thing my OB told me not to do was have sex until 12 weeks. After that when I bled at 16 weeks, I was told not to have sex for 3 weeks. Other then that, just try to take it easy! Make an appt for your OB right away if nothing else then to know what's going on.
Very Best Wishes!
PS.... Even though I had a good flow going they still considered it spotting. They said if you fill a pad in an hour it was not longer spotting. Medically spotting can be light or heavy. Just try to be calm, lay down and see if it slows down. Are you cramping? Bleeding with blood clots? If not, try to just relax!

Your period stops or becomes very light.
You may feel nausea or queasiness. Some women vomit. ("Morning sickness" can happen any time of day -- it may help to eat small meals throughout the day, snack on crackers or toast, or drink juice or lemonade.)
Your breasts swell and may be tender.
Your nipples and the area around the nipples (areola) get darker and broader.
You have to urinate more often.
You feel tired.
You may become constipated and have heartburn (Tums may help).
You may have headaches.
You experience mood swings -- feel angry, sad, or happy for no reason

particularly of sorting out people before getting a dogs, they could attempt people before they have a toddler. i admire animals and hate animal cruelty (I do have a humorousness however...that dishwasher ingredient is tremendously humorous!), yet I value human lifestyles and welfare over animal lifestyles and welfare, no count number what. this is an extremely horrific ingredient to have got here approximately to that little boy. I hate to assert this, yet some ladies who "by twist of destiny" get pregnant do no longer likely decide on the toddler, and that they do no longer take very reliable care of them. i believe that if a toddler is undesirable, it is going to obtain up for adoption, yet some mothers shop them in simple terms using prestige or self image. There are some tremendously undesirable people accessible having infants. If there grew to become right into a thank you to dodge people having infants till they surpassed some form of attempt, i could be occupied with it. subsequently, the owner particularly don't have left his dogs with a toddler unattended, yet leaving a toddler by myself like this is overlook. I truthfully have a 2 month outdated son, and the only time I bypass away him by myself is in his crib, and that i continuously have the video exhibit on so i will hear him and be attentive to he's advantageous. How those dogs tore the diaper off and did all that without her listening to is previous me...till they have been having intercourse and have been ignoring the toddler's cries.

A heavy bleed means you probably aren't pregnant but the exception to this rule is in the case of a lost twin. You need to go to your doctor and have him check with blood tests and monitor you. Sorry if you did lose the baby, but you'll fall again soon I'm sure.

I'd go to the er. you could be having a threatened miscarriage. but it is also known for pregnant women to bleed or spot during the first trimester and some women also have their period throughout thier entire pregnancy. Good Luck.

I'd still make a doc appt. If you did have a miscarriage, you need to be checked over. Was it a normal period? If it were just spotting, I wouldn't worry too much. Unless the spotting gets heavier.

This is usually a sign of a false positive, or a miscarriage (very unlikely this early on)
To be safe you should consult a doctor to make sure.
But I would chalk this up to a false positive, as it is very difficult to become pregnant very close to your period, and this may have even set off the false positive.
