It is entirely possible that you are pregnant, as your hormones are still out of whack! That being said, you could be jumping the gun, because your hormones are still out of whack. I would give it a little more time, and if you are still feeling this way, and haven't started- take a hpt. My heart goes out to you for your loss. Don't give up. Best of luck to you.

Actually you may "still" be pregnant if you didn't have a D&C and were carrying twins. That is what happened to me. I had a miscarage, and did not have the D&C. I still had the symptoms of being pregnant (morning sickness). I thought it was from the miscarage. I finally took a pregnancy test and it was positive. However, when the doctor did the blood work, it came back as abnormal. We did an ultrasound, and found out that the date of conseption (based on the size and development of the baby) was the same as my original date. The doctor told us that this baby was the twin of my miscarried baby. Not having the D&C saved my son's life.

i'm prefacing this by stating that i am absolutely NO expert on this subject, but i believe i've heard that after a miscarriage (which i am extremely sorry for by the way) your hormones are still so out of whack for weeks later that your body still believes it's still pregnant... i'm not sure how many weeks this is... but i've def. heard that if you take a pregnancy test too soon after having a miscarriage you'll still get a positive because you're body hasn't got all the previous pregnancy hormones out yet. I say you go to the doctor if you're not sure.
Good luck!

it is possible, but u wouldn't want to be getting pregnant that early after a miscarrige is not safe for your health or the new babies', getting pregnant that quick after the miscarriage could cause difficulties at the time of birth. Also it is a very emotional process which could also be hurtful to your new marriage and to your own emotions. i would say cunsult your doctor as soon as possible and go to your obgyn... asap... and if anything take this pregnacy easy, or your likely to have a second miscarriage.
