i am 35 weeks pregnant with my first. i have gained the standard 21 lbs. and am feeling pretty Ok considering. however, i have been battling the slings and arrows pregnant women often endure from friends, family and strangers for weeks, even months. "are you sure it isn't twins?" "there has to be one hiding behind the other, doctors aren't always right- you'll see when they pull out that second baby!", "your'e HUGE!" and my favorite is when a MAN, who will never know the difficulty of bringing life into the world- who has 4 children...telling me how hard it will be to lose "all the weight!" i am perfectly normal, content with my weight gain, my pregnancy and my life. why do people assume it's OK to insult us this way? i feel like if they think they can insult me, i have the right to retaliate and throw a punch. but then i would be wrong, huh??? what should i do???!!!!!

What exactly are the effects of having sex before the 6 weeks is up? Everyone says you cant do it but, what harm can it cause? Is it supposed to hurt the first time you have sex?

I am going to the doctor in 20 mintues to find out how many I am having and what I can do. If I have twins I think I could handel it, but if I have triplets I don't know what I would do. I am only 15 so I never really planned to become pregnant, but since I did I have to choose. Which should I do treminate these children, raise them myself with my ex boyfriend, or put them up for adoption? My only question if I have more then one, would it be possiable to have all of them go to one family? I am just lost right now, what should I do?

my appetite dropped a lot. Is this normal? At week 11 I had gained 2.5 pounds and I probably gained another 2.5 pounds up to now. (I don't have a scale at home so I don't know for sure) I know that weight gain is about normal from what my doctor said but now I am not eating as much. Did anyone else go through this. I don't have the typical morning sickness, it is more just utter exhaustion so I was eating normal.

ive been trying to get pregnant... my period isnt due until august 12th or 13th... but i started bleeding yesterday august 6th... its not light though... it is pretty heavy but it is pinkish instead of dark... today august 7th it is much lighter and i am hardly bleeding.... i also have a terrible headache, backache and nausea!! i heard implantation bleeding comes a week before your period is due... but implantation bleeding is only spotting or is it?

Hm why is that?
when i go to the bathroom and pee i have the white discharge ..and after that my back and ovaries kind of hurts ..why is that? my period is due to 18 august ...is this a sign that my period is going to come in a week or two?


the white discharge is elastic and thick ( no itching,no smell )

Im married to a woman who is more than 9 years older to me and now she s 46. My wife has 2 children son aged 21 and daughter aged 16 by her previous marriage. i have a 3 year old daughter by her who is healthy and intelligent. Now my wife is pregnant again with twins. Do any of you women out there know anything about a bicornuate uterus("two horned","heart-shaped"divided uterus")....the doctor believes its possible with me. I was at walmart when these little kids were horsing around and running and the mother was oblivious. Anyway one of the boys(about 8) fell against my cart and it hit my belly. It really hurt, I wanted to yell at them but I very carefully asked him to settle down. His mom finally noticed the chld talking to me and asked what was going on. So I told her, and she had her son say he was sorry. I then told her I was expecting(as I was not showing) and then after that she seemed more concerned. After that the kids started up again. My wife and I have been trying to have a baby for about 5 years now and she has had 4 miscarriages. It has made us become distant and our relationship has become very strained. We don't have the fun we used to...and since the last time she miscarried we have hardly had one decent conversation. I almost don't want her to get pregnant now so she doesn't get hurt again and we are pushed to the brink of divorce. Is this normal...to want to give up? Is there any way we can get back to normal? I know a baby would do the trick but I have a gut feeling that that will never happen. We are both 35 btw. Thanks for anyone who helps.

im 36 wks pregnant and today at walmart i decided to check my blood pressure on the little thing you stick your arm in.
well it says the normal is up to 120 and higher than that is not. well mine said 144...and im REALLY swollen my feet hurt to walk in the mornings i was just wondering what it meant?! does the blood pressure mean anything?

My fiance, of 3 years and I found out today that i'm 5 weeks pregnant.
We're extremely excited.
Yes, we're financially ready.
No, this wasn't exactly planned.

We DO NOT want to rush into getting married just because we're having a child BUT we DO plan on getting married before the child goes to school (most likely a year or 2 before).
* My mom and dad got married about a year before i headed off to preschool.

My side of the family, meaning grandparents, are not too fond of children without marriage and i understand.

Any advice on when/how to break the news?
(my mom is the only one who knows, she's soo happy!)

Friday morning I woke up and I seemed to have my period, it was light. I got some cramping as though I would have in my period. It went from light to heavy back to light. I got my period at about the time I would get it normally but I heard implantation bleeding did the same. How long does implantation bleeding last? Me it was from Friday (Aug.3rd.) to yesterday evening (Aug.6th.). I had some clotting and whatnot. What does it sound like?

It started in my belly button and now it covers my whole abdomin. I think it may be PUPPP but I also read that palmers skin lotion for stretch marks causes rashes. I had been using it for 2 weeks before I got the rash. Did anyone breakout while using this lotion and what did it look like? how long does puppp last?
