Pregnancy - June 2007

My fiancee is 3 weeks late on her period, and she took a pregnancy test last week, and it was negative, and then she took one today and it was negative. what is the deal here? We are not trying to have a baby so I figure that it is perhaps because she was extremely stressed out from work, and i've been working her out and making her diet a lot. Any ideas???

To me (and other people I've told), it seems early to be having an ultrasound! I'm probably only maybe...6-8 weeks pregnant, and not starting to show at all yet. The doctor wants to get me in for an ultrasound just a couple days after I initially came in and had the pregnancy test, "to see how far along" I am or whatever, but I just wonder, at this stage, what will they really be able to see, or what can they tell - wouldn't anything be so tiny at this point!?

Anyway, guess I just want to hear others' experiences with something like this..! lol

I am now overdue, and have read that the nearer the birth the less active baby becomes. But my baby has been moving like never before for the last 2 hours! And it hurts down low near my pubic bone and i mean really hurts at times. Short sharp pains like something is trying to come through!

Has anyone else experienced this or knows what baby is up too?

Every time I read someones questions the answer would be get the book what to expect when you're expecting. Got it today, it is at WalMart, and thank you all for your kind words, wisdom, dealing with emotional things. Thank You . Question, what would you do or how would you act if your family and b/f/husband didnt talk about the baby or even realize there is going to be one. I am 3 3/4 wks preggy, and knowone is mentioning the baby. Its too early to buy clothes. How would you react? Be pissed off or wait to see if they come around. I was just hired about 3 months ago. Right now I am only a secretary but i have an accounting degree and was supposed to take over the company's accounting within the next few months. Now I don't want to come back to work after i have the baby. Should I tell my boss that? Can he fire me if I tell I am not coming back?

For one i had my glucose screen friday morning and haven't heard back on it,they supposed to call you pass or fail. The other thing is i had an emergency csection w/ my first preg due to inflamed appendix and severe infection and have asked my dr. on the past 2 visits whether he thhinks i'll have to have another csection. Each time he says he hasnt had time to look over my hospital dr. report...2months and not had a chance?As a matter of fact each time i see him he asks me the reason i had a csection before, like he forgot! It is important to me to know what to expect and he just doesn't seem concerned with it at all.I'm 26 weeks along and don't want to have to switch drs but i do want someone who at least pretends to care what happens and pays attention to my concerns. Do you think im over reacting and is his procrastination normal or should i find anither dr? Also, should they have called by now on glucose results?

Hi, just wondering about ppl's views on this, when do u think u r too young to have a baby (+ i don't mean the obvious) i'm 20 and think i would be too young, even tho me + my fiance have our own place and r financially stable. and if u spend too long thinking ur too young, when will you be too old? Why would you want to induce if there are no complications? I mean I know we all want to be comfortable again and we want to hold our little bundle of joy, but isnt it expected to be uncomfortable when your pregnant? As for inducing before you are ready that tends to lead to a long hard labor...why would you WANT to do that to yourself when you can just suffer a little bit longer and let baby come when it is ready? Does this make sense to anyone else or does everyone just want to be induced?

It feels like my water is leaking but I am not sure and i just put a call in to the doc. Last nite i was laying in the ac and I got up and my legs were all wet. I jumped in the shower and I started getting pins and needles all up and down my legs. After my shower it cointuned well into the nite and morning. Alll this while having contractions.
