Very small chance, but it's there.....I knew a girl that had a child after every form of birth control, so her husband had a vasectomy and she became pregnant again, so she had a tubal ligation and they had their 6th child, which she calls her gift from God....her doctor felt so sorry for her, he gave her a hysterectomy for free and told her if she got pregnant again, it was all on her. That would be immaculate conception.

Well, if a tubal ligation or vasectomy is going to fail it will almost always do so within the first 2 years after the procedure. I guess technically it is possible that one could get pregnant, but the likelyhood has to be very very small.

It's possible, but very unlikely. If you are trying to get pregnant, you can have both procedures reversed, but it may be pricey.
***You can ABSOLUTELY get pregnant after having your tubes tied and/or after your boyfriend had a vasectomy. I know people in both situations who became pregnant.
In most cases, a pregnancy that occurs after tubal ligation will be a tubal pregnancy, but I know women who conceived after their husbands/boyfriends had vasectomies as well. It IS possible, albeit unlikely.

I had a tubal and yes you can from the tubal but my ex had a vasectomy and his doctor said until he comes in with a sample and it shows he is sterile yes you can. When he becomes sterile he will be shooting blanks(pardon the expression).

No!
If he had a Vasectomy, (cutting of the testes tube, and burning both ends), then he will not be able to impregnate you at all...
I am not familiar with "tubal ligation"...(if that is "cutting the tubes, and burning them and seperating them-->then No! Just aint possible again!).
I wish you well...

Not very likley. My girlfiriend had a tubal (10 years ago). I had a vasectomy (20 years ago). Just a few months ago she had a hysterectomy. I think we are safe now.

I have had a tubaligation and got pregnant nine months later. My fiance hadn't gotten a vesectomy but that's next on our list. If you had one and feel that you may be pregnant (again), get it checked out because you could have an ectopic pregnancy (baby stuck in tubes-not good at all for either of you). Also if hubby had the vesectomy and you had sex before he ejaculated 20 times (about that) you could have found some "working sperm" so check it out and see if it has happend.

Highly unlikely- vasectomies aren't 100%, but the tubals, frommy understanding, are a pretty done deal.
