It sounds like your water broke but like my doctor explained to me it might also be urine leaking because of the baby pushing on your bladder. I thought my water broke and rushed to the ER room but it was false alarm... But rather safe than sorry, go the the ER !!!

When the fluid-filled amniotic sac surrounding your baby ruptures, the fluid leaks from your vagina. And whether it comes out in a large gush or a small trickle, you should call your doctor or midwife.

Most women start having regular contractions sometime before their water breaks, but in some cases, the water breaks first. When this happens, labor usually follows soon. If you don't start having contractions on your own within a certain amount of time, you'll need to be induced, since your baby will be at increased risk for infection without the amniotic sac's built-in protection against germs.

Oh, I think you might be having *back labor....I had that with my first son, it's uncomfortable to sit, stand, and lay down. The only thing that helped me was to stand in the hot shower until the water ran cold... I was expected to have vaginal pains, but instead I had major back/muscle pain..Does that sound about right? Well, you should be at the doc office or ER. I made them admit me!!!

There's no way anyone can give you advice on this because we don't know what type of pregnancy you've had up until this point. For instance, this could be an emergency if you've previously miscarried. And it could mean something else if you have gestational diabetes.... So, the best answer is the one your doc will give you. Good luck and God bless!

Could be early labour lady talk to your doctor, as if your sac is leaking you are open to infection and the docs might want to keep you in hospital until baby is delivered.
