At least 2, sometimes 3 times a day I feel rythmic patters which I am guessing is my baby's hiccups. Why does my baby get them so often and will it hurt her having them so often? Does it have anything to do with the food that I eat?

For the second time this pregnancy -- and I'm only 14 weeks! -- I have picked up a stomach bug from my toddler. No fever this time, just ... you know the drill, I'm sure.

What are some medical reasons for an abortion? the only one I could think of would be a tubal Pregnancy. What are the other medical reasons?

I know this question has been asked many times, but I am terrified to the point where I am having nightmares about it. I would love to hear about your experiences, good and bad. What can I do to push the fear aside and start to look forward to it? I'm due at the end of october and I'm having my baby in a foreign country, they don't have all the mod cons that the UK and US have, they also cut you here whether you need to be cut or not.

I had some problems at the beginning of my pregnancy (I'm 17 weeks and fine now) so they did early ultrasounds to determine how far along I was and what might be wrong. The doctor said I was 5-6 weeks and that it looked like I may have conceived twins but was only carrying one, that the other may have miscarried VERY early and that was what caused my problems. He called it a vanishing twin, based on my uterus being somewhat misshapen (kind of lopsided) with what looked like a line across the middle of it. The baby's heartbeat was already strong and the next week things looked normal again and I haven't had any problems since.

Has anybody else had this happen?

i have had an irregular period since i had my daughter 8 months ago. i will get my period then i wont get it for another 3 months. so in the time that i am not getting my peirod....does that mean i am not ovulating and i cant get pregnant?

I'm 38 weeks pregnant and the estimated fetal weight from my last ultrasound suggested that my baby weighed 8 pounds. My doctor told me that my area was a bit uncomfortable for such a big baby to come out of. He suggested a c-section, but told me I could wait 'till I go into labor and see what hapens. But what if my baby decides to come out at arround 42 weeks, how much more could she grow. What should I do?

how is that possible? i mean he like stuck his finger in me(grosS!) pushed down on my stomach and said i should be about 9 weeks! i told him i didint think i was that far along but, so he scheduled an ultra sound on may 12! ...the reason i didint think i was that far along was because i actually got a period on march 11..it was light but it was a period! ...do u think the babis grwoing fast? or could it be 2?

I am having trouble figuring out if this is my period, implantation, and if I am pregnant. My cycle came on Apr.7 and it lasted five days like always, it usually is heavy but this time it was a regular flow. Now I am experiencing spotting which started on 23rd. it is light pink it isn't that much, I see it mostly when I wipe. I took a test today and it was neg. Also I am having lower backaches, headaches, and now I just had a sort of sharp pain around my belly button area. What could this be?

i am currently 19 weeks pregnant, but i dont actually feel any pregnancy symptoms at all. i had morning sickness in the beginning, only about a half dozen times though. my breasts arent particularly sore, I feel like i have no symptoms at all, but I know for sure that I am pregnant. I have a dr.s appt tomorrow, but I was just wondering if anyone else has ever felt this way. The only thing I can even really notice to remind me that Im pregnant is that i look chubbier than normal in my belly. But it doesnt even look like a pregnant belly it just looks like Ive had a fat month..........should I be worried, or is this kind of normal?

Hi there. My son is showing all the signs of teething. Shoving his fists and everything he can into his mouth, drooling a lot more, crying, kinda pulling at his ears, and waking more at night. I didn't know what was going on at first, so I took him to the pediatrician, and she said she could feel a bump on his lower gums, he's 4 months by the way! But, when I try and feel for it I can't feel a bump. Could it have been there when she felt it then gone away later? I'm hoping she's right about it, and there's not something else going on with him. We've only seen her once since we just moved from Texas to California, and just found a pediatrician. Can they teeth without there being a bump or redness, which he doesn't have either? Thanks!
