I am having trouble figuring out if this is my period, implantation, and if I am pregnant. My cycle came on Apr.7 and it lasted five days like always, it usually is heavy but this time it was a regular flow. Now I am experiencing spotting which started on 23rd. it is light pink it isn't that much, I see it mostly when I wipe. I took a test today and it was neg. Also I am having lower backaches, headaches, and now I just had a sort of sharp pain around my belly button area. What could this be?

I'm guessing not implantation and not pregnant because of your dates - from LMP to spotting is only 14 - 15 days. This means you would have been right around ovulation (conception) and implation will be 10 days after that. If you were pregnant before the April 7 period, implantation would have happened right around there.

Other symptoms may be related, but not likely. The belly button isn't near your uterus which is down in your pelvis, your intestines are behind your belly button.

There are many reasons a woman may experience spotting. Call your doctor in the morning and make an appointment to rule out any serious conditions so you can relax.

It is likely with a period that started on the 7th that you concieved on the 22nd or so. You may have had spotting if you had sex around that day? Implantation bleeding usually occurs 6-10 days after conception. I'm not sure if this helps or not; best of luck in getting pregnant.

i doubt if you are preg. but, if you are that would mean your Conception Date would be 4/21. you would only be 3 weeks which means it most likely will not detect on a home preg. test yet. there are some cases it might like the digital tests they seem to be more accurate and get faster results. You should just wait it out to see what happens but i doubt your preg. I know from personal experience my first symptom was being very tierd all the time.

I'd call your doctor and schedule an appointment, find out what's going on... I don't think you're pregnant... But it is possible...
