i do have an infection in my mouth which would be cause of an abses(not sure if i spelt i correct) i had last time would this cause any problems 2 my baby i am 23weeks i do have an appointment 2day at 12(its 10:21am here) so i will discuss it with who i am seeing at the doctors but am just wondering if it woud cause a problem thats all?

Is there anything that I can take that is safe that will help me to stop smoking. During my first pregnacy long ago, the smell of cigarette smoke made me sick. I am very early in pregnacy but what can I possibly take that would not be harmful to the baby. I still have terrible cravings for cigarettes.

I am 36 weeks 5 days pregnant. Yesterday I went to the doctor and I was 1 cm dialated and partly effaced. Today I have had large chunks of jelly like, thick, clearish yellow mucus on the toilet paper when I wipe. They have been pretty big. Does this mean labor is soon to come? Anything special I need to know about?

This is #4 and never had soo much engorgement before baby is due. I know that it could bring on contractions but the pain of them getting full is hurting me. Can I go ahead and store some of this colostrum?

Ok so i had my "period" like a day ago and it lasted only for three or two days (usually lasts like 5 or 6 days) and today my underwear had like this brown redish spot and when i cleaned myself i know its nasty but this brown redish gooey thing came out it was sooooooooo nasty it wasnt that big big but i want to know if that could be a pregnancy sign!

I weigh 109Ib and my metabolism is fast(or high whatever you wanna call it) so I don't get fat. I usually eat whatever I want and I never get fat. Maybe it will change with the baby but once I have it will my belly go back to normal quick? and how long ahould it take?

My period in march was on the 19th and on April 4 I felt really pregnant, I don't think it's all in my head because I'm not trying to get pregnant, however if I am I would not mind. Anyway I started my period on april 14th, I should have started on the 17th so it was a few days eary. I'm done with my period but still have all the symptoms so is it possible to have still had a period and still be pregnant?

is c-codamol(paractmol) okay 2 take while pregnant(i am 23weeks) because thats the only thing i can think of takin for my pain cause i have a really sore mouth and swollen gland and i cant get an appointment till monday and thats the quickest i can get one so would it be oks 2 take? will my baby be okay?

Well I have a friend (no, it's not me, at all!!) and she's sexually active and had sex a couple times without protection, she's missed her period this month, feels nauseated, weak and tired, she’s felt this way all month, can she be pregnant?

My friend and her husband are having a baby. They both work, but they make $37,000 together and the Medicaid and WIC maximum income in our state is $30,000

Their employers do NOT offer medical insurance, and they currently have medical coverage that they bought on their own for $400 a month.

Problem is that their medical coverage does NOT include maternity and they can't get any other medical coverage because the wife is already pregnant. They have no way of paying for OB costs, delivery, and hospital charges now!

What are citizens supposed to do in this situation?????

Come on ladies, what were/are some of the crazy things people said to you when you were pregnant? I had a barista yell across a coffee shop that she hoped I was getting a decaffinated drink (like it was any of her business...) I also got lots of "YOU ARE STILL PREGNANT?" Um... yeah. Come on. At the Dr's today she determined I was 2 cm dilated Im 36 weeks. Does this neccessarily mean I lost my mucous plug and didnt know? Or could it still be in? I forgot to ask this before I left there. Also was anyone stuck at this point for a week or so? Im trying to get things together in time with out going into labor first!

I know I can run out and grab a test but I need some input incase the test comes up negative.
I have been having pregnancy symptoms as well as pms symptoms for 2-3 weeks. painfully sore breasts, cramps, horrible backaches never experienced before. I am just getting over a 3 day "period" when normally it comes for 7 days at a heavy flow. The past 2 periods have been short and on and off. Sometimes heavy and then back to light. The thing is my breasts normally hurt 1 week before my period and do not continue to HURT during my period. Same goes for these cramps that I have had for weeks. I am a little more tired that usual and very emotional. could it be that this is not my period and if I test....right after a "period" what are the chances of it being accutare? I know implantation bleeding is suppose to be more like spotting. I also ovulated approx. 12 days ago with bad cramps too. Could this be early pregnancy bleeding?
