Well I have a friend (no, it's not me, at all!!) and she's sexually active and had sex a couple times without protection, she's missed her period this month, feels nauseated, weak and tired, she’s felt this way all month, can she be pregnant?
(She’s a teen, who doesn't want to talk to her mom about it)

Yes, she did take a home preggo test and it's negative, but can be too early to tell and I told her before this that she should slow her roll, but yes I definitely agree with everyone.. so far!

Hmmmm well if shes stressed abou it, that can delay her period. I would say all you can do is wait it out a bit longer and have her take another test. She certainly has symptoms of being pregnant. If she is, try to ease her nervousness about telling her mom. She will be mad, but youll be surprised just how quick they get over it and get excited! your a good friend, glad your being there for her!

First...yes she could be pregnant. Her symptoms could also be caused by her own mind worrying over the consequences of her actions. So...step one...she needs to find out. Take a pregnancy test or go to your local planned parenthood for a test. Step two get tested for STD's.
If she is pregnant...tell her to go to her parents. She will undoubtedly fear telling them but she will most likely be surprised at how supportive they will be. (This by no means indicates that they will be happy about it.) But parents love their children and no matter how disappointed they may be they will still love and support them in times of crises.

She better go to her local health department and find out. If she is a teen and active why in the hell did she not wear protection? She may be pregnant. Also, doesn't she realize the risk of disease...what about hepatitis....do you know that almost all of us who are not protected will come in contact with the disease. However, only about 30% or so is dangerous. Tell her to get checked and if she is not pregnant and does not have an STD than to be more careful.
If you are going to do adult things that carry responsibility than be responsible.

These symptoms could certainly be related to pregnancy. Your friend needs to get tested to determine whether or not she is pregnant so she can make a decision about what to do. If she is pregnant she needs to tell her parents right away so they can help and support her. If she isn't pregnant she needs to view this as a warning and get on some kind of birth control right away so that she doesn't have to go through this scary thing again.

Sounds like she could be yes. And she really does need to talk to her mother. Encourage her to do it. First she needs to do a pregnancy test - no point in worrying her mother needlessly. If the test is negative - tell her in no uncertain terms that she needs to take more care in future !

Anytime you have unprotected sex there is a chance of pregnancy...Have her take a home pregnancy test or go to planned parenthood for a test.

Basically if she's had sex she can be pregnant. Doesn't matter what she did or didn't use. She needs a pregnancy test and to talk to her mom.
