What is the largest number of multiples born naturally? I mean, without fertility drugs. Quads? Quints? I've never personally known anyone who had more than twins without fertility meds, but I'm sure it has happened and I'm just curious.

The most born WITHOUT fertility drugs (because they weren't even invented then) was 10. It happened 3 times to my knowledge. It was in the 1800's.

I had some friends that were in their 40's and "accidently" got pregnant... and had triplets!! :) (your chance of having multiples increases with age)
