Pregnancy - March 2007

Well i was dating this guy for about a month, just casually did not want anything serious, but then the condom broke. I got pregnant. Then i found out at about 2-3 months and I told him and he disapeared. I didnt know alot about him and now that im 39 weeks and due next frieday. How would be the best way to track him down. I dont have the money for a private investigator. Any ideas how I can find him, or get his number and address. Ive also tried looking up his number and stuff online and he is all unlisted....(No rude comments) Any suggestions..really buggin me!!

I am 5 months pregnant with a baby boy. I feel like my boyfriend is becoming distant because in our previous pregnancy I lost the baby. Therefore I feel like with this pregnancy he's not showing any signs of joy and we're always arguing and things like that. Everything is just going bad between us and he says he cannot get over the first baby. What am I to do? Please give advice.

Part one: I am 37 1/2 weeks. I started having regular contractions today around 7 pm. They came with back pain, pain down my left thigh and they were 4-9 minutes apart. I was laying down so I got up and walked a little bit on my treadmill and they got worse. I couldnt take it anymore, so I drank a glas of water and laid down like your suppose to and they stayed the same. After about 2 and a half hours they slowed down and eventually stopped. I dont think they were braxton kicks because I have had them for almost a month and I know what they feel like. This was a sort of pain that I have never felt before.
Anyone else have this problem or any advice for me.
Every little piece of advice is greatly appreciated!



Part two: did anyone else have very vivid dreams about your new baby before labor started? i have had dreams of my baby for the past few days. they arent the wierd baby dreams people talk about.

He's never really been fussy like this before? We are staying with my in-laws for a few weeks while my husbands gone training for a new job, I'm stressed and I know that can affect the baby too. But, there's no other symptoms except a lot more fussiness throughout the day, and the things I can usually do to console him don't work as well. One minute he'll be fine and smiling and kicking around the next he's starts crying, like that coughing type crying? Do babies have fussy periods even when they didn't during the normal "colicky period"????Thanks 1st baby!

When someone gets pregnant by accident people say 'You don't have sex without knowing the possibility is that you can get pregnant'.....but isn't that the same as saying to someone who has been in a car accident 'You shouldn't get into a car if you can't take the possibility of being in a car accident'!!!

I am 11 weeks and had my first pelvic exam while pregnant a few days ago and one of the tests I am not sure about. I took a couple of medical classes in school and know the basics of a pelvic exam but not this. It felt like the doctor "clipped" a bit of tissue from my cervix (maybe elsewhere) and I'm not sure what for. Didn't really think about it till now when I can't find any info on it. Anyone know what that was and what it's for? He also said I would probably spot but haven't. I figure that for a good thing but figured I'd throw it in. Thanks to anyone who can help, It is greatly appreciated.

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 years now and we have been having unprotected sex. My period was due on the 1st of march but since Feb. ended early i gave it extra time but now a week late still no period. I have very sore breast and keep getting pains sort of like cramps like if i was going to get my period for like a week now but nothing. I took a hpt yest. and it was neg. but still no period i feel extremely tired all the time breast are tender like i said. Also, im very moody i get mad at my boyfriend for like no reason the other day i was eating and it tasted like metal i heard thats a symptom of pregnancy and so im thinking maybe i am pregnant what do you think?

This morning i had slight spotting barely anything but its gone... PLEASE ANSWER! This is very important to me and i really appreciate it. Thanks =]

I recently found out I was pregnant, I have been taking birthcontrol for two years and never changed anything. So when we found out we were shocked. We decided that it wasnt the right time and since I was only a couple of weeks I decided to take the RU486 instead of having a surgical abortion. So I took all of the pills as the dr said. I never saw anything pass except just regular bleeding. Today I decided to take a pregnancy test, and it came out positive. What do I do now? The dr. said it might not work and they can give me another set of pills or I can have a surgical procedure. I am terrified of the surgical procedure and would rather do the pills again. Will it work the 2nd time? Am I going to cause problems for me having kids in the future? What do I need to do? The nurse isnt answering the phone so I cant talk to them until monday morning. Please help.

Im 28 weeks along and I feel like i am having contractions already. Im already a high rish because of the preterm birth of my first child. Its hard to tell if they are actually contracttions. But it gets really tight in the lower stomache like cramps.

I took an HPT thurs morning and it was +. I took one this morning (Sat) and it was + (both AccuClear). I had had slight cramping yesterday and part of today. Today I started spotting, but it was different in color and smell than my period. Went to the ER to be safe (Sat night), they took blood and said I wasn't pregnant. There's a small possibility I would only be about 3 weeks pregnant so I don't know if it is too early for the bloodwork to pick it up or not (my friend said that was an option). It could be a miscarriage, I don't know. The doctor left before I could ask what my hCG level had been. Even the PA said it sounded like I was pregnant and it may be a miscarriage. They didn't do an exam and they didn't give me any answers. I haven't taken anything that would cause a false positive. I'm almost 100% sure I don't have any STDs (cuz my bf didn't and I've been - tested before). I'm gonna take another test in the morning.

before i found out i was pregnant i had to tak these tablets for a tummy bug. I took a pregnancy test and there was a faint line i told the doctor but she didn't take a test or anything so i took the tablets witch where (TINIDAZOLE) i read about them and it said they where ok to take when you where 6 months but not in the first 3 months so do you recon my baby will be ok? because i went back to the doctor that gave me the tablets witch was 2 weeks later that i got another test and it came out stronger i told her that i was pregnant but she didn't say much at all.

for the past few days i have been having this weird feeling in my stomach, like my baby is kicking me. but i am not far enough along to be able to feel the baby kick yet. i'm only 4-6 weeks, is this normal? Someone told me they thought it was my utrus stretching, but they didn't understand why it would be stretching yet, b/c they are about 5 months and just started to feel the things i'm feelin. i ended up going to the emergency room around two weeks ago, they had to do an ultra sound, but first they had to do some kind of blood test to see if some kind of pregnancy level was high enough, because if it wasent they wouldent be able to do an ultr sound because they wouldent see anything, i thought (at the time) that at i was at least 2 months preg, butu i wasent, he said that i should have at least a count of 2-4000, and iwas like ok, so when they came back i asked what it was they said a little over 6000 and i was like could that mean i am having twins?? and he said maybe but he doubted it, anywho know im even feeling fetal movements!!!! but i was just wonderingn if anyone new if a pregnancy level of at least 6000 at less then 2 months was high....oh yeah my ultra sound came bac as negative for twins.....could i still be pregnant, anyways...any info would be great

I have had lower back pains for about a week n a half now.. But now im getting such bad pains in my upper back.. Is that jsut cause everything is gettin g pushed up there??

Last week i felt like i was going to have this baby! now this week i dont feel like he is coming at all!!! Has anyone else felt that??

I am 7 months pregnant and just recently had sex with my husband. Soon thereafter, my vulva swelt up like a balloon. The morning after it has had an achy feel to it. I can hardly stand to wear underwear it hurts so bad. My mother says that labor is near (that's why I'm getting the soreness). Any suggestions?
