Pregnancy - March 2007

My husband has a nasty viral infection of sorts, and is running a fever of over 102, even with Tylenol and Ibuprofen.

I'm 29 weeks pregnant, and am worried what kind of effects this will have if I get it. I've been, um, OVERLY exposed to it before he started showing symptoms.

What will the doctor do if I end up getting something like this? Thanks in advance for your answers.

Ok friday morning I woke up and I felt sick, like I had to throw up. Every time I swallow I feel nausea. I'am a my cycle, but I'm just spotting that last for like three days. later that friday night I felt like I had to throw up. I went to bed to keep from doing it. About 2 am I was woke up by me feeling like I had to trow up and I did. Than at 4 am the same thing. You know what at 7 the same thing happen. I threw up 2 more times after that. Now I'm just sick. What could be the problem? could I be pregnant or is it ssomething else?

Good lord my throat feels like it's on fire. This recently started (I'm 7 mos) I have no interest in even eating now because each swallow is painful since I've been having the stomach acid continuosly rise to the back of my throat. And, I thought when I experienced constipation it was bad. Anyone know what I can do?

I took an HCG blood test yesterday and I was at 2, I was wondering if the date of intercourse was less than 10 days from the date of the test, is it possible that I am pregnant and HCG levels have not begun to rise yet. Any info is greatly appreciated.

are penicillin. Is this correct??? If so, I am alergic to penicilin so what should I do. I know the doc told me as soon as I start getting contractions go to the hospital so they can start the antibiotic. Is there another antibiotic that they can use???

My friend is only 15 and having unprotected sex with guys way older than her. For the past few months I've been taking her to get pregnancy test after pregnancy test. I spent a while telling her about babies and how she should use protection only for her to call me a few days after requesting another pregnancy test. I think she's either afraid to ask the guys to strap up or she just doesn't want too but she's a soph. in high skool and i'mma Senior just tryna be a good role model and tell her right from wrong...its not working...I even asked her to go to the clinic and get condoms or get the pills and she acted as if she didnt know what a condom was and told me she was on the shot once but it hurt too bad.....what am I to do, i dont want her to end like some of the girls I've seen get pregnant and struggle thru school????

Okay, I'm pregnant with my first child. Ever since I got pregnant, my boyfriend has changed. He's always so busy working and never wanting to be around me anymore. He says he's making all this money but when I ask for it to help pay the dr., he yells at me for it. I know he's up there working 24/7. I have my sources. But I'm tired of him ignoring me. Every time I try to tell him how bad he's treating me, he tells me I'm being childish and immature. Then he tells me that I'm using being pregnant as a crutch, as an excuse. What do I do?

this is my 3rd pregnancy and Monday i am going into my docs office to have an ultrasound done..i will be 19 weeks and 1 day. I was wondering if at 19 weeks will they be able to see the sex of the baby pretty well? I know if u carry a girl sometimes its harder to see the sex then if its a boy,so if it is a girl will they be able to get a good look at 19 weeks? when did u find out the sex of your baby?

We are going to have a sonogram done this Monday , I will be between 14-15 weeks, by calculating due date by my period im 15 weeks already, but the dr says im a little behind that somewhere between 14-15 weeks, Has anyone gotten the gender around this time, I know its usualy in the 16th week i think, but hey heres to hoping :-)

i didnt remember if my lmp was jan 5 or dec 5 and the doctor felt and said i was 9 weeks and couldnt hear the heartbeat so how can i figure out when i concieved? she gave me a due date of oct 12. im scared cause when me and my ex broke up in dec i was with some1 else twice but with a condom that he says didnt break and my ex doesnt think its his! someone please help i need some reassurance that i am only around 9 weeks cause if it was the other guy id be like 11-12 weeks. what can i do. he doesnt even believe we used a condom and now hes sleeping with his ex and was with someother chick when i was with that other guy but i still want him back or should i let him fly?

when i was 14-15 years old i was trying to have a baby for about 5 months ...i kno i kno shame on me....now im 16 turning 17 in august but its only because of my home situation at the time now i dont live at home and i think i might be pregnant but i've been only having sex with my boyfriend for a month and a half....so my question is .....why couldnt i get pregnant before but now i might be pregnant and before i couldnt.....was there sumthing wrong with the boy or me??

I am just about 10 weeks pregnant but just found out 1 1/2 weeks ago. I have been sick for months and unable to eat! When I do eat I feel sick or vomit nearly every time. If I don't eat I vomit. I have lost 15 lbs in the past month. Any suggestions on how to stop the sickness?

Our parents live several states away... the baby (#2) is due may 21st, and my mom is planning on being here by the 19th. I was thinking of asking my doctor to induce my on my due date if I haven't had the baby by then. Has anyone ever planned their own induction? (I'm not worried about being induced, either...I was induced with #1 and everything went great). I would love for my mom to be here when the baby is born, since she wasn't for the first one...
