That is a very common concern.
It is very rare to lose a baby without having moderate to heavy bleeding. I believe somewhere around 95% of miscarriages carry the bleeding.

The worse thing you can do is stress about it. I've learned that-I have had two mis. one 2 year old and finally pregnant (12 weeks) again hoping to make it through. I kept searching for stuff on the net and all it did was make me worried and crazy tierd of waiting for the next appointment. All you can do is keep your mind busy so you don't stress about it. I too keep feeling like I'm not pregnant. Just know you will be assured when you hear the heart beat. Also remember that the placenta takes over most of the hormones around this time, that could explain body changes as well as the baby moving upward so not too many bathroom trips (for now). Good Luck and please don't worry!

I totally know how you feel.. I am 12 weeks pregnant with my first child after a miscarriage about 6 months ago, and although I have no signs of miscarriage, I worry every day. My doctor told me its normal to feel that way, especially after a miscarriage and to just not worry! Worry doesn't help anything at all! I think once we get far enough along to feel the baby move, we can start relaxing a bit more! Hang in there!

It's very common to have this fear, especially if the baby is something that you want very much. But if conditions weren't right and you did start to miscarry, you would know it. I had severe cramping and a lot of blood loss. I was only 6-8 weeks though and they say that once you're past the first trimester, the risk for miscarriage drops dramatically. That's not to say that it won't happen, but now the odds are in your favor. Good luck!

At 12 weeks pregnant it would be impossible for you to lose the baby without knowing. You would bleed a lot and pass a fully formed fetus. Anyway you're passed the highest risk stage for miscarriages now so relax
