You should eat canned tuna only once a month due to high amounts of heavy metals. Fish is high in omega 3 and is good for you!

No, it's not bad. But you should get a list of what fish/meats you should be careful of. There is a worry of higher mercury content in some fish, like tuna. Feel free to ask your OB or midwife, or nutritionist. They are there to answer your questions, and should be happy to inform you of what you should eat more of and what you should stay away from.

only raw fish and they say you should avoid large ammonts of tuna, but ask your doctor, mine said if I ate it every single day for every single meal, then I would be eating too much. Fish is a great source of protein, and very healthy fats and oils that your baby needs. I eat tuna a couple times a week and all of my children have been fine.

I read an recent article abou eating fish when pregnant. it sid ifu ate a healthy amount of fish while pregnant, yor kids are smater O.O'' ... go look online

"But there is no evidence that methylmercury in seafood causes a problem." besides if that's the case.... wonder why babies born in early centuries were healthy and with fish being the main dish in many countries......

look online in some of the medical websites and ask your Doctor there are a few specific things they tell you to stay away from but for the general idea you get alot of nutrients from fish and it is a very good source of protein.

Many types of fish have high levels of Mercury in them. Be cautious with your intake of Tuna. Be wary of other Seafish....... Also stay away from Albacore. There have been many studies and they have all been concluded with findings of birth defects when a woman consumes a large amount of fish...

It's O.K. so long as it is processed fish and not something you caught in a pond or something. Fish is very good for you.
