like others have already told you...this COULD be a PMS thing, or it COULD be a pregnancy thing. either way it's probably hormone related...
the only way to know for sure is to take a test or wait for your period. most pregnancy tests are accurate if taken 5 days or less before the missed period, but will become increasingly more accurate the longer you wait, so if it won't make you too crazy try waiting another day or two at least. also, consider getting the EPT or another kit that comes with 2 tests...i don't know how many women wind up not believing their results (either positive or negative) and they wind up buying another test...
another possibility (not trying to be crude, just realistic)...did your boyfriend maybe have a little too much fun with your nipples last time you had sex or fooled around? if he bit (even lightly) them or sucked on them too hard or for too long, you may not have noticed any problems then, and may not think that it's connected at all...but consider the possibility in your mind for a moment? maybe this will relieve the stress from your mind for a couple days until you take that test?
good luck, and i hope you're only pregnant if you want to be!

Nipple pain is a sign of pregnancy, but it is also a period symptom. Since your period is expected to come in 5 days, I suggest waiting a few days and taking a pregnancy test. I recommend Clearblue Digital so you don't get confused over whether there is a line there or not. It gives you a straight "pregnant" or "not pregnant" answer. With that test you can test 4 days before your expected period, but it is better to wait until the day of your period or after because you risk getting a false negative if you test too soon. So wait a couple of days and test. Or you can call your doctor and get a blood test.

I don't know what it is but i know what you mean i had the same trouble a few months ago and it went away in a few days it was mostly gone the next morning. it was awful it hurt even to wear a bra but it hurt more to wear just a shirt.
but my period came a few days latter it must be a hormone thing?

If you're worried, take a pregnancy test. Some of them detect pregnancy REALLY early. At least that would ease your mind.
