if your doctor gave them to u knowing were preg then you should be alright. they say that because the 1st 3 months is the most important part of the baby growth but only ur dr could determine if she felt it would be safe or not. I was on the pill and ended up peg and didnt know till later and my son was born fine with no plms and the on the pill package it says do not take if preg ofc.. congrats on your preg and good luck! :)

Go seek a second opinion. If you tell a doctor your situation they just might do an ultrasound to be sure baby's growth is on target. I wouldn't stay with the doctor who originally gave you the meds. And by not doing a work up or having you checked out after you told her you were pregnant, sounds a little neglectful and maybe cause for an investigation. Call the BBB and report that doctor's behavior.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Make sure your OBGYN knows, but before I found out I was pregnant, I was on birth control pills which everyone always says "DO NOT TAKE IF YOU ARE PREGNANT" But I had only been on them a couple of months, and didn't find out I was pregnant until about 2 months into my pregnancy, so I had still been taking them.

Not sure if the doctor had any choice because she had to get you over the VD trichomoniasis or that would have been even worse to let it get out of hand.

The thing with trichomonas is unless your sexual partners are treated; you will keep giving it back to each other. It is dangerous for the fetus.

Personally i would find another dr. if your dr. is not willing to listen to you then what good is he/she doing for you? i definately wouldn't stay with a dr. like that and would start looking for a new one!
