I'm guessing you never went by his apartment or home because you said you were trying to get his address...this is a tough one. I would go to your local DCS office (department of children's services) and see if they can assist you. If I'm not mistaken, they help track down the missing parent when you apply for child support.
Also did you meet any of his friends? If so try their numbers or their houses. Did you know where he worked? Try his job. Try spots where you guys hung out at. If you dated a month, I'm sure you had to have some type of number or something to contact him. Do you have any friends that are cops? Maybe you could tell them what kind of car he drives...year make model and color and tell them his name and maybe they can pull up his driving record or his tag number or something that will allow them to get his address.
Good luck!!!

I would contact your local Department of Family Services, and they can track him down for you. If you don't want to get that severe, you could ask people who knew him, and assure them, whether it's the truth or not, that you only want to let him know his child is here. Also...there is a website that might be able to help you if you know a little bit about him...It gives addresses and phone numbers and such.

Well if your going to get child support from him I think the Gov. can look for you! Do you know where he worked or anything like that? Were there any clues to where he might work? someones job is a really easy way to find them! Even if he left town he might have transferred somewhere else? I hope you find him! Good luck & Congrats on the baby!

You shouldn't stress yourself about it you have enough to worrie about. This guy doesn't care or he whould be looking for you.It sounds like it was his intention to not be found. It really stinks that he helped make the baby but left the hard stuff for you. Chances are you will never see him agin. If you get AFDC on your baby after he/she is born the government will go after him.
But hey most women whouldn't even have the baby so you have my respect! You are taking responsibility for your actions and that all that matters.

It wasn't casual, but anyways
The only thing you can really do is try to go through his family members. Find someone in his family and he can be tracked from there by the courts.

If you know his name and other information about him, your state government should be willing to track him down for purposes of child support. Addresses, employers, etc., would all help.
Best of luck.

So sad that some people don't take responsibility for their actions. Just shows you how much he cared huh? Good luck with the baby.
