I did. I ovulated really late in my cycle, and I had only been pregnant a week or less when my period skipped. I had two urine tests at the lab, and four at home, and they were all negative. I didn't get a positive test result until I actually began to miscarry, and that was after having several consecutive blood samples done (for an HCg intact count). The dr was certain I was pregnant--I was two weeks late, and showing all the symptoms, but she couldn't tell how far along b/c the hormone started dropping after the second test, just before the miscarriage began. I never did get a positive urine sample...
I'm not saying you are going to miscarry; I was just saying that if you ovulate late you may not get a positive for at least two weeks, b/c it takes that long for the HCg to build up enough to be read in a home test. By the time the HCg was almost high enough, I had lost the pregnancy. Most hpt's won't read a level under 150, and mine never got above 140.

Yes. I am now 16 weeks pregnant and the first pregnancy test I took was negative. I was only barely 4 weeks, plus I now have reason to believe that the test might have been bad also because it was a pack of 2 and one gave me no results, while the other said negative. About 5 days later, I took another home pregnancy test (4 to be exact) and they were all positive.
I did some research and found that different tests have different sensitivity levels to the amount of HCG hormone they can detect. If possible, try the digital ones. They are accurate in the sense that you don't have confusing lines that may appear one way and really be another way. My second test came out negative at first, 1 minute into it, it starting adding the positive line, but it was very faint and my husbad and I were so confused. After 2 like that, I went for the digital just to have "clear" results, and it was much better. Funny enough, this same thing happend to my mom when she was pregnant with me!
I would suggest you wait a week and retake a test from another box.
Good Luck!!

i havent, but my friend has had that happen to her. it could be because it is too early in the pregnancy to tell. the home tests check the hcg levels and they are mostly present 2 weeks after conception.
also, try testing with your first pee of the day. if it is early in the pregnancy, your first pee has the most hcg hormone in it.
hope this helps.

maximum easily!! I had ignored my era yet i did not think of i became into pregnant so i placed off taking a attempt. whilst i ultimately broke down and offered one i became into questioning "what a waste of funds i'd desire to easily wait this our until at last my era gets right here." because of the fact i in my view did not think of i ought to be pregnant. I wasn't having any indicators, and purely did not experience like i ought to be pregnant. I purely felt some cramping, and that i assumed that became into because of the fact i became into getting my era. yet as quickly as I took the attempt the subsequent morning. There it became into 2 pink traces. i'm due in 2 days to have our son. Kyler. So my advice is purely take the attempt despite in case you do not experience pregnant. besides it is going to placed your techniques at relax to renowned. wish i became into some help.

I haven't but it is certainly possible. False negatives are much more common than false positives.
