Pregnancy - March 2007

Hi, I'm 4 weeks and one day pregnant. last night i had noticed that my left nostril was swelling. It is painful to tough. Every morning I am very congested. Is the swelling due to the pregnancy or something else? Is there a technical term for it? Has anyone else experienced it? Thanks!

well i had sex once, it was my first time, it was on february 1st, we used a condom and it didnt break or leak and it was 2 days before my period ended, i got so paranoid after that day i thought i was pregnant i was having gas, constipation and peeing alot, the week after it happend, im still peeing alot, i got my period a little late and it was light and short...my breast are a little bigger now and im peeing alot, but when my period was late i went to the doctors office and got a urine test and it was negative, and now i've gained about 5 pounds, im worried, can the stress be causing me to gain weight and everything?

Recap: I've engaged in dry sex with little or no fluid with clothes on during the second day of my period this month. I have been having cramps for 8 days now and think i'm showing more and more symptoms. Ive read on darkening around the nipples and all sorts which I think mine are, but not sure. I saw 2 doctors (1 of which I saw 3 times, telling me she doesn't think so and that's it's just guilt) , and a clinician twice who found me kind of irritating saying I couln't have! My concern is, why am I having these symptoms and I really don't wanna get pregnant yet. I meancan I fully penetrate if there's clothes on... Any suggestions or contributions from experienced?

my last period was dec 16th and i went to the doc on Feb 27th and he sent me for a blood pregnancy test, which came back negative. is it possible to still be pregnant if the test was negative?

Im 37 weeks today, and I am having a lot of pressure "down there". It almost feels like something is going to fall out. Usually, when I sit down in a chair, it goes away, but now its just constant, whether I'm standing or sitting. It really hurts/stings. What can this be? Has anyone else had this, and what were you told it was? I was told at my last dr's appt that I was 60% effaced, and just over a cm dialated...and last night I had really bad back pains. Im not worried about going into labor soon, b/c I know that can take forever, especially with the first baby. I just want to hear what this might be. Thanks so much.

I am a mother of two and should know this already. The last day of my period my boyfriend and I had sex. I am not on anything and we didn't use anything, and he didn't pull out. But now I am having a thick, creamy, smelly discharge. And I remember having the same thing with my other two children. I know its not a yeast infection. So I am wondering if I could be ovulating now, and if there is a certain odor when pregnant? And could I possibly have been ovulating the last day of my period? Any advice would help. Thank you!

3 weeks now I have been getting very painful rib pain, my top uterus and about 2 inches below my breasts give me such sharp pain that I have to practice my breathing techniques. other times the pain will be in my belly and be soooo bad. sometimes the pain is mild...other times its so bad that I have to massage it and even then I feel pain. Why are these BH contractions so painful...and the dr told me it's also possible it is early labor. but why so painful? yes still i am dealing with it, no pain meds required for me. does it mean I may be able to have a quicker/easier real labor? i am 38w, 4d today..1 cm dialated, 75% effaced and babys is very very low in me already. So why all this pain though? Dr says me and baby seem to be healthy and all. i feel right now with these pains that someone is taking a hot iron and I am internally burning around my belly button and about 2 inches above that area. other times its like someone is stabbing me. the more I can bear these pains will prepar

I just found out that my babies head is engaged and low at 27 weeks. Does this mean I will have the baby soon? Has anyone carried full term with this situation? My cervix is still high and not dilated and this is my fourth child that will be a c-section. Any answers would be helpful. Thank you.

I have pcos and i don't get my periods regularly. And i started spotting yesturday and had intercourse later on that night, with out using anything? Can you get pregnant if you are starting your period or on it? I know you can still have your period normally when you are pregnant. but i don't have mine regularly to begin with. I will take a test in about a week to double check. but i am just wondering.

Yesterday morning I woke up at 4am with contractions. I had them consistently until noon (45 seconds in duration, 2-3 minutes apart). It was lower back pain mixed with a bit across the lower abdomen. I was for sure it was the real thing. Then they stopped at noon. After that they came sparingly here and there, but I didn't feel the baby move so I went in for a stress test and everything was fine. They said its either false labor or very early labor. I was so disappointed to find I was also only 1-2 cm. I have a daughter and it felt just like the labor with her. I also lost my mucus plug yesterday...has anyone been through a similar situation? I know losing the mucus plug could mean that labor is one day away or one week...but any tips??

Im 37 weeks pregnant.. Past 2 - 3 weeks my stomache is soo sore! to the point that i am having a hard time getting out of bed. It is reallly bad.. All throughout my stomache. Its hard to move around in my bed.. no sleeping positions work..Soo i am lucky if i get 4 hours of sleep.... Ok heres the promblem,
Most months i am quite worried incase i am pregant, as i only use comdoms for sex and other stuff

I cant go on the proper pill as i have a liver disorder, but i can go on the another pill but the promblem with that is i have derpression and are on a high dose of anti derpressents i have been told the pill and anti derpressents do not harm to tak them both.

But i know if i take them my mood could be even worse than it is now.

Now i could easy say i wont have sex etc, but i have a boyfriend of 4 years and you know what men are like girls you have to keep them happy so they dont go looking somewhere else.

I dont know what to do can you help me please?

Im 34 weeks pregnant and i woke up yesterday and i had really bad pain in my ribs. I had an ultrasound on Friday and they told me the baby is in the right position, so his bum is up in my ribs. Could he be kicking me in the ribs? Sometimes it hurts so much i can't get up from sitting. I thought it was just the way i was sleeping, so i tried sleeping on my other side last night and no change.

Did anyone else have this? Please help.

Whats the earliest you've felt fetal movement? And what about any other movements? Like.. just movements that came from being pregnant, if that makes any sense. I keep feeling this quick fluttering(?) in my stomach and I dont know when its too early to think its the fetus.. thanks!
