Im 34 weeks pregnant and i woke up yesterday and i had really bad pain in my ribs. I had an ultrasound on Friday and they told me the baby is in the right position, so his bum is up in my ribs. Could he be kicking me in the ribs? Sometimes it hurts so much i can't get up from sitting. I thought it was just the way i was sleeping, so i tried sleeping on my other side last night and no change.

Did anyone else have this? Please help.

I always push his little feeties down, it works for about a minute.. then he decides to kick me again!! He's always a baby in the booty ;-) haha sorry there isnt much you can do about it.. just tickling his feet and see what he does.. its kind of interesting. They r smart little shits already!

The baby is just kicking you in the ribs. Get used to it, it may go on until you deliver.

I didn't (thankfully) but my sister-in-law did. She was in pain quite a bit of the time from her little fellow kicking her in the ribs. There isn't much you can do, that I know of. It will be over soon. Good Luck with your baby!!!

My son was bad for this. I used to use my hands and gently push down on my tummy. It would really help. Or even putting your hands just under your ribs and holding there might help.

Yeah it could be. Just imagine how it's going to be to get the baby out. It'll hurt a lot worse than it does now.

It is highly possible that the baby is kicking you. My son was 9 lbs. 3 oz. at birth. His kicks REALLY hurt.

You just have to deal with it. You'll probably have sore spot syndrome from getting kicked in the same spot. Just know that with every movement he's letting you know that he is healthy.
