I believe so, because when I was newly pregnant, but before I knew or was even far enough along for it to show up on a test, I had these wierd dizzy spells. One day, I got all the way to work and had to tell my boss, "I think I need to take the day off" When I called to tell my husband he joked and said, "Maybe you are pregnant" My exact words were . "Yeah right, even if I was it would be to early for any symptoms." Now, I think thats what is must have been.

If you are having dizzy spells, go see your pregnancy doctor right away.
I had light dizzy spells at the beginning of my pregnancy, but they got worse as the pregnancy progressed. If I stood up too fast from crouching or sitting position, I would litarally "black out" and then wake up in the stand up shower, on the floor, even on the ground outside of my car. Pretty scary stuff!
I went to the doctor, they hooked me up to a heart moniter and found that my heart was would start to beat too fast when I would stand up too fast, so they put me on medication for it. (They have certain medications for pregnant women.)
Please be careful. And congrats on the new baby!

I got some hormonal changes by 3 days, but the main hormone hit was 5-6 weeks after conception.
Your blood pressure does usually dip early in pregnancy, and if it was lowish to begin with, it can mean you get faintness.

I was dizzy in my first trimester, and again now at the end. Be careful when standing up, especially from a lying down position. Try to find something to hold on to if you need to. Also, be sure and take your prenatal vitamins, eat well, and drink plenty of water.

Yes it can. Take your time when getting up, if you have to hold onto something. If you are getting up from lying down do it in stages. Drink plenty of water and remember to get your blood pressure checked, I had dizzy spells during 1st trimester due to low blood pressure. Congratulations and good luck :-)
