I have pcos and i don't get my periods regularly. And i started spotting yesturday and had intercourse later on that night, with out using anything? Can you get pregnant if you are starting your period or on it? I know you can still have your period normally when you are pregnant. but i don't have mine regularly to begin with. I will take a test in about a week to double check. but i am just wondering.

YES you can.. see information below

There is a definite chance that any woman can get pregnant during her periods. Though the chances of pregnancy during periods are usually low during periods, they exist for all women. During periods, the chances of pregnancy are comparatively lower at the onset of a woman's period and increase just after her periods. The truth is that there is no predictable time during the month when the risk of pregnancy can be said to be absent.

I got pregnant on the 3rd day of my period when my husband and i had sex. I believed the myth that you could not get pregnant while your on your period but it is such a lie cause i did however i miscarried at 5 weeks.

It isn't very likely but this is when my daughter was conceived. You need to wait longer than a week to test, give it a month and test then.

Yes you can. Sperm can live in your body for a long time, and if your cycles aren't regular it will be next to impossible for you to calculate when you're ovulating. If you want to prevent pregnancy its important to use protection even during your period.

No. I mean. its EXTREMILY RARE like a one in a million chance. But no. We learnt about this in health last week. That is when the uterus is shedding its wall adn the zygote would not be able to implant, so it would get flushed out too, so no, you are not pregger

The spotting could have been some breakthrough bleeding at ovulation. So you could be at your most fertile time right now. Good luck, if that's what you want. :)

Never happened to me ever, but I'd say there is always a chance!!!!!!!!!! Usually the egg is dead at this point, but anything is possible with unprotected sex!
